Giant cut out hole in the middle. Defeats the purpose entirely. Came damaged. Junky. Do not recommend

Really like this canopy. Probably one of the best we've purchased. We have a lot of the wind up here in the mountainous areas of the Pacific Northwest and when the wind kicks up, we can either keep it tied down or take the top down easily and quickly since it's a collapsible canopy. It's very sturdy and price is really on point.

I purchased this canopy in June '24 as a gift for a family member with a new backyard deck. I had a similar canopy/gazebo that stood on my deck full time for three seasons each year. I liked it and thought she would, too. She and her family enjoy sitting outside in the evenings, but of course don't like being chased back inside by mosquitoes or a rain shower. These canopies are intended for short term use such as a picnic, a day trip to a beach, etc, but I was able to make mine work full time each year from spring through fall. For less than $30, I purchased a matching color (dark brown) heavy duty, UV resistant tarp (with metal eyelets) of a slightly larger size than the canopy roof, put it over the top, and snugly (not too tightly) lashed it down to the deck rails with adjustable straps or heavy duty bungees. It makes the canopy roof rainproof, protects it from UV deterioration, and with the mosquito curtains that come with the canopy and the addition of an outdoor rug or mat and some nice rockers, it becomes a protected, comfy, homey place to sit outside. The tarp lashed down snugly over the top also secures the canopy to the deck and protects it from anything less than the most severe winds.I took my deck canopy down and stored it away each year as Midwestern winter approached and put it back up each spring, with a new tarp if needed (in my experience, an HD UV resistant tarp lasts several summers). By doing this, my canopy lasted several years and was never damaged by storms. Her deck is on the east side of the house, which also helps protect it from typical west to east storms and wind. If severe storms are on the way, she has the option of quickly and easily lowering the canopy top down to deck height by using the four leg height adjustments. They've had several storms so far since we put it up in mid June and the canopy/tarp combo is doing well with no issues. If all else fails and the canopy needs to be replaced every few years due to a freak storm that manages to damage it, or just from plain old age or wear and tear, for the price it's not a big deal. In the meantime, it makes a nice, homey three season space for very little money or effort.

I read the reviews so I took my chance in buying this and unfortunately this tent didn’t last past day three lol. It came with a part on top placed in the wrong direction to start so the very tippy top wasn’t able to be secured in all four corners because one of the corners parts was placed on the wrong side of the beam. I was too lazy to return it so I said oh well. Then I should’ve put the stakes down to keep it in place but we had wind one night and it flew right over our fence and broke one side of the tent and ripped it up pretty well. Still, we set it up again like maybe we can make it last, put stakes down, and the wind still messed it up good. So it’s very fragile. I’d buy this again but only for something temporary like a one day thing then it needs to be put back. Definitely not meant to stay outside for longer periods of time but it’s super cute when you first put it up!

I recently discovered that the way all screens canopy's are measured are Eve to Eve. In other words roof corner to roof corner. It states it in the description but I never saw the actual size of screened area from leg to leg. You will see in the picture there is a lot of space under the Eve that is counted as part of the measurement and not the actual screen house itself. So for this screen house which is a 12x12, the roof is 12x12 The actual screened area is close to 9 ft 10 in from leg to leg. It made a diference for us when we needed it to cover a specific area underneath which is our pond which is bigger than 9 ft 10 in. The product will do for this summer. I bought two. The other was 11x11 (different manufacturer) moved it to a patio and bought the next size up thinking the 12x12 would do the trick . I was wrong. There was also a defect that We did not reach out to the company because I didn't feel like dealing with sending it back. In the picture of the corner where the post legs come down you will see an opening where the two corner ends are supposed to attach by the roof. But they used loop Velcro on each side so they will not stick together. This happened on two of the corners. Overall the product will serve its purpose. It's not as aesthetically pleasing with the dark brown and the white trim. This will be taken down in the fall and used again. Probably someplace else in the yard and I will try and get an even bigger one for this area next year to cover the entire pond and leave room for us to sit. We are covering the pond because of blue herons eating our koi fish. And I actually like it covered it's like a little Oasis inside. The canopy went up easy. But there were three of us to pop it up. It would be very difficult with one person probably not impossible but difficult. Hope this helps:) The price of $159 was reasonable . The one we bought from a different company was about $40 more expensive and there is a difference in the quality. So know that $159 is a reasonable price, And the product will absolutely serve its purpose as a pop up canopy for you to enjoy! Happy summer!
