For best results, preheat for 10 minutes before cooking. Oven safe up to 400 degrees F (205° C); temperatures higher than 450° F may damage the wood knob. Cleaning: Cast iron needs to be thoroughly washed. Avoid harsh detergents, but use soap as needed to get the surface clean. Once cleaned and dried, rub a small amount of high-termperature oil into the metal to prevenet rusting. A well pre-seasoned piece of cast iron will appear shiny, but not oily.

We like the design.The cast iron retains the heat for a long time so our tortillas remain flexible and moist...delicious.BUT the dish is very heavy and if youpre-heat it you'll need oven gloves.

If there's any complaint because it is cast-iron it is very heavy. I would hate to drop it on the floor or a foot. I am happy that it's not just a unit that keeps pancakes and wraps warm you can also use it to bake bread

I use this for my taco stand and it works great! The handle lasted about 3 hours before coming off, so that’s a bummer. I would suggest using with towels inside to minimize rusting; because it will rust

I bought it as a tortillas warmer. It is not effective as a warmer. It is better to cook with or for oven use. Having no handles makes it hard and unsafe to transfer item because of the heat and weight .

This is advertised as being a multi use item in the kitchen - one of the uses is as a warmer. To keep food warm. First use. Tried keeping bread rolls warm in it. The inside of the lid was rusted up by the time I lifted it up to eat one - which wasn’t that long 🤢 it dripped rust ‘water‘ onto everything inside 🤮🤮 I have other cast iron cookware with cast iron lids and none of them do this. Looks cool, but is HORRIBLE QUALITY! Returning and warning people.

So pot is nice but it’s exactly that a POT boy a tortilla warmer. Should not come up as such in a search. It’s heavy, the handle is a vanity handle and not actually touchable with how hot the pot gets.

I purchased this to keep pancakes and french toast warm. SHAZAM! We are finally all eating breakfast together. This is a beautiful cast iron container which I may use as a small Dutch oven.

This is great for grilling, soups, breads and bakes and other stove top creations, but not suitable as a tortilla warmer. It's huge, heavy, gets super duper hot to the touch with no handles, and the tortillas sweat and stick together, and stick to the bottom of the pot. I will say that it is quite striking in design aesthetically speaking.

I purchased this as a tortilla warmer but discovered that it can be used for many more purposes. It is a solid cast iron pot which can be used on the stove, in the oven or on the bbq. You can do one course meals for two or use it to roast a smaller piece of meat. I like that it has a lid which just increases the versatility. Definitely would buy this again as a gift for someone who needs a quality, multi-functional piece of cookware.
