Simple, effective wax for keeping your skis or snowboard gliding smoothly on the snow. It's very easy to apply—just rub it on the base, and the cork top helps smooth it out. The wax works well in cooler conditions, and it’s perfect for a quick fix while out on the slopes. While it won’t replace a full hot wax job, it’s a great tool for touch-ups and extending the life of your wax job between major maintenance. I also appreciate how portable and convenient it is, with no mess and no need for extra equipment. It’s a solid option for anyone looking for a quick, efficient way to improve glide and performance on the slopes.

This won't replace a really good wax job done at a ski shop; however, it works great for touchups and on-the-go needs. It's the perfect size for your ski or snowboard bag side pocket. It's an all-in-one applicator, so you don't have to worry about carrying extra pieces or parts, except maybe an extra cloth. It's convenient and portable and did wonders for a mid-season touchup on our skis and snowboard.

Easy to apply wax for mid-season refreshing on skis or snowboard. Works great but Wouldnt suggest you replace a full wax with it.

I used this as glide wax on my cross country skis yesterday. I thought the product was fine. I liked that it has real cork pads for buffing the wax - and that some extra pads were included. The directions on the container were basic but understandable.Unfortunately the block of wax was stuck to the sides of the container so much that when I tried to advance the wax further above the edge of the container, it ended up breaking the plastic inside. Now I have no way to raise the level of the wax and will have to hold the block of wax in my hand or put padding under it in the container. Other than what may be a flaw in the design, I think this wax will serve its purpose.

I have absolutely no idea how there are so many 5 Star reviews on here for a free product. This has to be the absolute worst thing you could ever put on your board. I followed the horrible directions that came with this and to no avail! My snowboard did not glide on the snow it absolutely stuck to the snow and did the complete opposite of its purpose! And then once I finally get down a hill it’s all completely wiped off in one single run! What a load of garbage. I need a refund.

We got this for my son to do to help maintain his snowboard, and it’s so easy and gets the job done! Instantly helped repair some white spots on the board and made it overall smoother.

I didn't get around to re-waxing the tips and tails of my textured cross country skis this year, so I was working with last years wax job. We took this on our last ski day and tried it out. Now, it wasn't as good as if I actually took the time to properly hot-wax the skis - but this is expected. However, it did provide extra glide for our situation where the current wax job needed some touch up, or had worn off. It's definitely something that is going into our ski bag just in case. It's a lot easier than the paraffin candle that I keep in my bag and use in a pinch.Applying it worked fine in 25 degree weather, and the cork top smoothed out the wax layer quite well. It may need reapplying if you are going out for multiple hours or in warmer weather. It's a little soft above 25 degrees.

I'm new to skate skiing, and I bought some used skis that surely needed some wax. I skied on them several times before waxing them, and I realized after waxing them how much I needed the wax!So, here was my experience. If you've even used stick deodorant, and let's hope you have, then you can do this. Seriously. Turn the bottom to lift the stick up a little bit. Then, rub some wax on the bottom of your skis. You don't have to cover the bottom of your skis when rubbing it on. That's the purpose of the cork top. After you have rubbed on some wax, then you put the cap back on and rub the cork against the bottom of your skis. You will see the wax that you rubbed on getting spread evenly across the skis. So easy! I was impressed, really. That's all there is to it. Nothing complicated. Now let me tell you my experience with them on the snow right after waxing. I waxed them in a warm house. Then, I put the skis into a pretty warm van. Then, I promptly dropped them onto the snow at maybe 15-20F. When I put my boots into the skis and tried skiing with them, they felts STICKY--like, my skis did not want to move. I thought for sure that I used the wrong wax or something. Nope! Give them literally about 3-5 minutes, and they will be working great. My hypothesis is that the wax needs to get down to temperature and harden on your skis. While soft, the wax inhibits your movement, but once down to temperature, I found that the wax worked great. When I was pushing off to the sides while skate skiing, I felt that waxed skis were SO MUCH better than unwaxed skis. Likewise, when going up hills, I felt the skis actually slid more with the wax when I was going uphill, which made the hills feel easier. My only complaint here, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that I think $19.99 for 1 stick is outrageous. Have you ever paid $19.99 for a stick of deodorant? Well, this doesn't seem that different to me, and they charge $19.99 because they can. Not a good reason, in my opinion.Still a good choice.
