I put this on my swing while my niece and nephew were here. They thought it was a great tent and pretended it was a nurses ten. They kept trying to get all of us to be their 'patients.' It was incredibly cute.I've had my swing for several years, but this last summer I wasn't able to put it in the usual shady spot. One summer in the desert sun and it ruined the straps (I don't leave the cushions on it when not in use for that very reason).Now I need to replace the straps as they are cracking and breaking. When I saw how much the new strapping will be, I thought there was no way I'd pay that until I find a way to make it last more that 1 summer. That's where this puppy comes in handy. I can cover it when not in use to protect it from the sun.I like that you can unzip it so that it's not totally enclosed. Maybe it won't get so super heated if it's opened. This is also nice if you want to sit on the swing in the rain. Not that we get much of that around here, unfortunately.It is lightweight and will do the job.

I'm glad it came quickly. I'm hoping the thin material will with stand the elements. This cover blew off my swing on a windy & rainy day a few days ago. It didn't come with straps to secure it to the swing's legs. I used the draw strings on the bottom to wrap around two of the legs, but thy were not strong enough to hold in place. I'll give a little bit more time to see if I will keep it.
