Purchase two, they appear strong but one of them did brake at the locking snap easily.

I put my phone in this case before taking a jet ski ride. At one point in the jet ski ride, we hit a large wave and the front cubby popped open. Unknown to me at the time, my phone in this waterproof case also popped out when we hit the wave. This occurred around 5pm. We didn’t realize the phone was missing until about 9pm. After checking the gps we realized the phone was still somewhere in the lake. We went back in the dark to see if we could find it, and it was right there, floating in the water. The phone was totally fine, case was waterproof and we recovered it with no issue. This is an incredible product and I highly recommended it. It survived rough lake waves for 4+ hours and stayed floating the whole time.

I’m a kayak/SUP guide, so waterproof boxes and pouches are a must. I submerged this for 5 minutes in my tub with a tissue inside. It wanted to float (even when tested with my phone), which is helpful! The tissue also stayed completely dry. There’s even extra room outside of my iPhone 14 Pro. For the price, you can’t beat it!

I put this camera case through some tough situations while caving. It takes a beating and holds up very well. Also very waterproof and I have never had an issue with it. Highly recommend.

Of course this only fits with the z-flip unfolded. Its a tight fit top to bottom and in fact its a little long for the case. But, because it folds in the middle you can arch it to make it shorter, then push down to flatten it out for a tight fit and still not defeat the integrity of the seal. If I shake it hard enough it will move around in the case. If you have the z-flip with otter type case, you may not want to risk buying this. If you use it without a case this will work for you unless they change the size of the phone since I bought mine. The clasp on mine is tight and if you have arthritic fingers this might be difficult to open. If this is the case, you may want to look at the bag-type phone keepers.I will use this attached to my kayak life vest in case I flip my kayak. I did not give it the napkin test to see if it leaks. Remember, there is a white paper ring on top of the gasket you need to remove before using this box.I have the bag type also but I've had it awhile and I don't trust it as I once did.I will update this if anything of note changes my opinion.

When I got this I tested it, empty, in the kitchen sink. That worked so I put my phone in a zip bag and put that in the case and tried it. Still good! Took the phone out of the bag and put it in the car and tried again. Still good! Took it kayaking and dripped water all over it and my phone stayed nice and dry! I think it works great and it's definitely affordable!

My wife and I have been talking for months about getting a cell phone for our child. Among other considerations, we didn't want it to get crushed in their backpack at school. I can pound the dents out of the steel water bottle (a recurring duty), but figured that that probably wouldn't work as well on a phone. So, I'd been looking for an outer case like this to keep the new phone safe during high-risk transportation. There are lots of similar ones on the market, but none I've found that are as thin as this one. Most are general-purpose cases for carrying keys, fishing lures, cameras, etc., and are 2+ inches thick. This one is made for smartphones, and is much thinner. Things I like:+ Big enough for any of the phones in our household (Nokia 7.1, Samsung Note 8, LG G6)+ Strong plastic+ Single latch+ Waterproof seal+ Strong, long hinge+ Minimal extraneous protrusions+ Removable lanyardAnd... that's it. There's really no down sides that I see so far. We added some foam padding that we had on-hand to keep the phone from flopping around inside, and things are nice and snug.To be sure, this isn't a practical solution if you're going to be accessing your phone regularly. But, if you're not going to use it for a few hours at a time and will, say, be keeping it in a bag underneath a pile of school books, or lying on top of it while jumping your snow sled, this should help your device stay in one piece. We've only had this item for a few days; I'll write back if something breaks. Otherwise, I'll probably get another pair for the adults before the summer camping / kayaking season starts.
