It’s really nice. Sparks still get out through the opening, but they’ve usually had a chance to cool off before that happens. However, LEAVE IT OPEN when you’re done with the fire. I found a bird trapped in mine, it managed to get in through the gap at the top but couldn’t fly back out. I was lucky to have found it before it starved.

This fire pit screen cover is very well made and the construction is heavy duty. We needed a cover for our new fire pit and this cover fits perfectly. It was very easy to put together.

Bel objet et pratique mais son espérance de vie dépend de l'envergure du feu. Si les feux sont trop gros et dégagent beaucoup de chaleur, le grillage se déforme et la peinture brule faisant place à de la rouille. Même après un seul usage, le mien est très déformé et je dois le repeindre avec une peinture résistant à la chaleur. Dorénavant je ne l'utiliserai que pour de très petits feux.

A lot of these covers will limit the size of your fire, but this one is tall and wide enough to accommodate a larger fire with many logs. Easy to put together and solid when done. The screen is strong and hasn’t punctured yet!

This product works great on our fire pit. We burn a lot of boxes and papers. This is perfect for keeping papers from flying out of the fire and setting the yard on fire. this is a definite must if you live in the country and burn a lot of your trash.

I love the height of the screen. It fits my firepit and doesn't slip, as long as we place it correctly. Opens/closes without issue. I can get a nice roaring fire now. I've been looking for a product like this for a few years now...needed a reasonable price. This is sturdy, and easy to use. The installation got a 4 because it took me a minute to picture how it needed to fit together. The instructions weren't perfectly clear, but good enough!
