Oh my god our cat loves this toy, we still have it’s corpse (my dog unfortunately chewed it enough the squeaker part fell out) 7 months later… he carries it around everywhere and loves when we play fetch with it. Yes we throw it across the room and he runs for it and brings it back to us 😂

My cat is absolutely obsessed with this toy! This wand is the only way I can get my overweight (16 lb) cat moving. I've been using it to keep him more active and lose weight through several five-minute play sessions every day.I've purchased two wands so far. The first I purchased in Oct 2022 and the second was purchased Dec 2024 to replace the first after the battery seemed to die as it stopped squeaking (unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to open it up and replace batteries). Since the sound is the main reason my cat enjoys it, the wand had to be replaced.The squeaking sound is great at getting his attention (though a bit loud for human ears as a small warning), and the feathers seem to add an extra layer of fun for him. The plastic wand is durable and easy to maneuver, allowing me to create engaging chase sessions. The tethered string design works great as well since I haven't had any issues with fraying even though he chews and claws on the cord.This wand quickly became my cat's favorite, and I highly recommend it to any cat owner looking for a fun and engaging toy. Five stars all the way!

Our two kittens love love love this toy. Our kittys are not declawed which make if funner for them. We spend hours a day playing with this toy. We have to keep their napping schedule in mind not to wear them out. They also play with it by themselves. When we are watching TV we can hear the squeak squeak constantly. They've had it for a week now and they're not tired of it! The toy itself shows no wear or tear except for two feathers that came off, but that did not change the fun or quality of the toy at all. We love this toy so much we are getting a back up just in case! LOL

This mouse wand that chirps is just fantastic. My gray chonk absolutely adores this toy and begs for me to play with her. The sound and movement of it on a wool rug really does mimic prey very well, which keeps her extremely engaged and riles her up for some exercise and enrichment. So far, it's holding up to a very destructive and strong chonky girl.

I wish this came in a version that has no squeak. My cat is not an ariel player, but an ambush one, and this mouse squeaks when it rolls on a perfectly flat carpet and on hardwood. So frequently, that I spend all my time trying to keep it from bouncing or touching anything enough to set off the squeak, even the tiniest bit, during play. In theory, a lot of squeaking might be desired, but it's too much for my cat. Hopefully my particular battery runs out quickly before my cat stops wanting to play with it. As it is now, play sessions end too soon with this toy. This would totally be 5 stars otherwise. I will monitor this toy on Amazon, hoping that this company comes out with a squeak-less version. I know, unlikely, but fingers crossed. (I may perform toy surgery and dig out the battery.)

The second I put it out for my cat to play with, she went absolutely crazy over it. Never seen her so energetic over a toy. This is by far her favorite one! Though the sound on the toy can get annoying sometimes when it’s playing for long duration of time. Overall awesome toy for price!

I bought the play wand for a new cat we took in. He was a bit nervous at the beginning and needed to let off steam. Given that he is a 16 pound male cat, he has quite some energy to spend and two wand have already landed in the trash can. This one so far has lasted. the chord the holds the squeaky mouse is a bit short, so that play time almost ends up to also be exercising time for me, as I have to move the thing around with wide arm movements. And then of course there is the squeaky mouse. I should've paid more attention to the name of the wand, so the only one to blame her is me. My hope is that our new buddy will soon have reduced the mouse to a state where it doesn't squeak anymore, whenever that might be.

This type of toy is one of my favourites for two types of active play with my cats and foster cats: 1. Running around the house with it trailing and swerving so they chase it. 2. Having it dart back and forth while I watch TV and give them a work out. Either way, it keeps cats active and many like it. However this particular brand came apart (the string broke apart from the wand) with rambunctious play after about a week. The thick cord which runs through the wand is not actually secured very well inside that wand. It needs to be more sturdily constructed - because rambunctious play is expected. Also, it squeaks too easily (as compared to our other squeaky mice). The cat pulled the feathers off the back of it in about 5 minutes of normal play - and this was not leaving the item within reach.

I have bought two of these so far. I'm giving it a 3 star rating only because the second one I purchased does not squeak at all! It arrived with a dead battery.Other than that, it's a great toy. The rope is thick enough that my cat won't hurt himself playing with it, and he goes crazy for the squeaks (when they work).

I purchased a second one just in case the first one ever breaks. My two cats are really rough with any toy that hangs, so I'm super pleased that it's been holding out! Recently we got a new puppy so it did some considerable damage to the poor mouse. The string is tough and can withstand their teeth!!! It makes these cute squeaky sounds when it gets knocked around, and my cats go crazy. Totally worth every penny!
