The dinos are really good quality. There are also many different types and colors. There are small but details are perfect. No smell at all and are really good value for money.

My toddler (2yo) loves these so much. He names all the dinosaurs and matches them up because there are two of each kind in this pack. It’s fun to watch him enjoy these! Great value and quality. Most of them stand — only about 6 or 7 wouldn’t stand.

Size is almost too small for playsets or to delight a child. If anything they will love how many there are. The colors are fun and vibrant. Some molds are really good others are sloppy. Yes they would work on cupcakes. Yes a kid would like them for sheer amount but....they're too much of an odd size. They remind me of what we got in bubble gum machines back in the 70s and early 80s.I wanted them for a new terrarium I'm making and as cat toys. My cat loves my other dinos so there is enough here to share and maybe he will leave my better ones alone. These are...hard plastic. Mine had NO odor. I didn't bother to count them. I'm sure it's indeed close to 80.Price is reasonable but not great. These are more trinkets or decorative things than actual toys. They are nothing to be excited about but nothing to be disappointed over. The variety is good. Yes it's similar to ones we used to find about 12 to a bag at dollar stores. These arrived quickly

So many options to choose from - my son loves creating with all these dinosaurs. My only drawback is that it hurts when I step on them lol.

Pros: for the price, you get a lot of mini dinosaurs of many different species. But the modeling quality and paint jobs compare very unfavorably to Safari Ltd., whose dinosaurs are also a little larger. These dinos are all molded out of either yellow or white plastic, then another color is sprayed lightly on the top only. For example, white dinos are sprayed with colors like magenta, bright green, red, and turquoise. Though no one knows what colors dinosaurs really were, these colors are obviously unrealistic without being fanciful in a good way. If you have a child who wants to keep a group of mini dinos to play with, these are not the ones to get. Children who are really into dinosaurs know so much about them, they've memorized all their names, etc. They are more suitable for piñata favors, to include in little mixed bags of tiny toys as kids' birthday party favors, or as cupcake toppers.

I've loved dinosaurs since I was a little kid. They fascinated me by their massive sizes and unique structure. When I was a kid, I can only remember there being maybe 10 major dinosaurs. Today, over 5 decades later, there are HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of types of prehistoric creatures! This is a combination review for both the 78-piece mini-dinosaur collection and the 6-piece dinosaur set.Let me start with the 78-piece collection. It really surprised me! At most, I was thinking I might get up to 12 different dinosaurs. You know the usual ones. Boy, oh, boy was I ever wrong!VARIETYWhen I first opened the bag and began pulling out and examining the dinosaurs, I stood each one in front of me on the dining room table. I kid you not... it wasn't until the 16th figurine I pulled out that I finally came across a duplicate dinosaur! I was shocked! So I kept pulling them out and began to try to group them. In the end, I counted 36 distinct creatures! (There seems to be a total of 39 "different" models, but 3 of these had near look-alike models painted differently (e.g. two identical models (but different colored) sauropods, two similar-looking orange-toned hadrosaurs (possibly Maiasaura peeblesorum?), and two greenish-blue toned Dilophosaurus-looking dinosaurs with subtle physical differences). Overall, I was delighted with the variety of sauropods, armored herbivores, and carnivorous theropods. I only wish that there were included an ID guide because some figures don't offer enough identifying features and could literally be mistaken for one or more similar dinosaur within their family group. (I know artists interpret what dinosaurs looked like in different ways so that compounds the ID problem here for some of these figures.) I was disappointed that Triceratops and Brachiosaurus models weren't included since these are standard in most sets and I couldn't tell if Ankylosaurus, Stegosaurus, and even Tyrannosaurus are in this batch because of multiple representations of similar-looking dinosaurs within their families, but I can't really complain because of the variety I ended up with. I do wish more flying and marine dinosaurs were represented in this batch. Of these families, only the Pteranodon and Elasmosaurus, respectively, are represented. (Wishlist: Rhamphorhynchus, Archaeopteryx, Quetzalcoatlus, Mosasaurus Megalodon Ichthyosaurus, etc.)QUALITYThe quality of each sculptured figurine is far better than I expected for the price paid too. Some are obviously more detailed than others. Some pieces had some flashing and seam line issues, but a sharp Xacto knife fixed them. It was also evident that these models were originally sculpted by different artists with some artist renderings more detailed than others. At least two types of plastics were used; a yellow-base or a white-base color. The variety of airbrush colors is for the most part nice, but some color choices for certain dinosaurs weren't as good as others and there were variations in the quality of the airbrushing, but not a deal-breaker. (After all, if I wanted to, I could always repaint any figure myself.)CUSTOMER SUPPORT/SERVICEAside from my satisfaction with these dinosaurs, I must mention my deep satisfaction with the supplier! The plastic zip lock bag the dinosaurs are stored in has a note asking that you contact them if you discover any broken dinosaurs and they'll take care of you. There's also a color printed note inside the bag which basically asks the same. They REALLY CARE about your satisfaction! I can personally attest to the fact! I purchased two of these 78 piece sets and out of all of those dinosaurs only 2 dinosaurs had some broken pieces; one a leg, the other an arm. I sent an email to the supplier at the email address they provided and within a day I received a kind reply thanking me for contacting them and supplied the details of what was broken and proof of purchase. Within a week they more than compensated me by shipping several replacements at no charge! I can't say enough good things about this supplier, nor how happy I am with this purchase! It's like being a kid again and it feels great!A BIG THANKS TO MR. LEE who was my contact who assisted me with my order and replacing the broken dinosaurs (and then some!)!!! I look forward to buying more things from OuMuaMua in the future! =)HIGHLY-RECOMMENDED for kids (7+ and not "toy-chewers"), teens through adults who LOVE dinosaurs and want to get a bulk set with variety. Now my review of the 6-piece set...I’ve recently been purchasing and reviewing a few different plastic dinosaur mini-figurine sets from various sources online. This review is concerning another surprising set of six plastic dinosaur toys featuring very nice sculpting detail and quality at a very reasonable asking price.VARIETYAs I mentioned, this set includes six dinosaurs that range from a standing height of 2 ½” to 4 ½” and “nose to tail tip” lengths ranging from 5½” – 7”. The dinosaur types in this six-piece set are labeled on the underbelly of each figure: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spinosaurus, Brachiosaurus (this is actually mislabeled and should be “Apatosaurus”), Ceratosaurus, Styracosaurus, and Stegosaurus.QUALITYFYI… These dinosaurs are not to scale with one another, nor do they have to be. The quality of each sculptured figurine is actually not too bad and really not any significant flashing or seam line issues. The detailing of each sculpted model is fairly consistent and done well. A yellow-based plastic was used then each figure was individually airbrushed & hand-painted using two to four colors. For the most part, the airbrushing was fine, but the hand-painting of areas such as the toes, teeth, and tongues, etc. were not done very well and in some cases looked “hurried” and messy. This is more evident when you look at their “dirty” feet from the bottom side and I didn’t much like the choice of black paint for all of their toes either. No worries though… I’ll just have to repaint the ones that bother me, but I’m satisfied with the sculpting of each of them nonetheless! A good paint job will highlight those details much better anyway! Finally, the Ceratosaurus was the only figure that would not stand up straight out of the bag because its legs had slightly warped from compression by the other dinosaurs in the bag and the Spinosaurus’ sail had slight casting imperfections, but not bad enough to warrant replacement.TIP: Sometimes when you get a bag of plastic dinosaurs, you may find that the legs, arms, necks, horns, and/or tails of some of them may be slightly bent. This often makes them look odd or prevents them from standing up correctly. The best solution I’ve found to correct these types of problems is by using a hair-dryer to warm-up the plastic. This allows me to bend the figures’ parts back into their proper position. To re-set the piece and make my corrections permanent, I bend large paperclips to form a brace and use rubber bands to secure them. Braces can also be formed by using pieces of sturdy cardboard to hold the figure parts in place. When the plastic finally cools the corrected figure should stand up properly on its own. Sometimes, I’ll put my corrected figures into the refrigerator to expedite the cooling. Note: When using the hair-dryer be careful not to have it set on too high of a heat setting or you may melt the plastic or damage the paint if you let it blow on the figure too long.CUSTOMER SUPPORT/SERVICEAside from my overall satisfaction with these dinosaurs, I am always deeply satisfied with the supplier! You can contact them if you discover any broken dinosaurs and they'll take care of you. They REALLY CARE about your satisfaction and they’ve gone out of their way to make me feel satisfied and looking forward to buying more things from OuMuaMua in the future! =)CORRECTIONS WORTH NOTINGI’ve noticed that some dinosaur toy suppliers have erroneously called the Spinosaurus by the name “Acanthosis” which is actually a skin disorder, not a dinosaur. Also, the Styracosaurus is sometimes mistaken for the Monoclonius although each dinosaur has some very distinct differences. Lastly, I’ve seen Apatosaurus called either “Brachiosaurus” or “Diplodocus” so, obviously, some misinformation keeps circulating in the toy industry. Since there are SO MANY sauropods that have been discovered now, this Apatosaurus could even represent the following sauropods: Aegyptosaurus, Amygdalodon, Barapasaurus, Bellusaurus, Camarasaurus, Cetiosauriscus, Chubutisaurus, Magyarosaurus, Melanorosaurus, Mussaurus, Nemegtosaurus, Paralititan just to name a few!HIGHLY-RECOMMENDED for dinosaur-loving kids (age 7+; not "toy-chewers") up to teenagers through adults.
