These tools are better than expected for the price and are a great value. They are well made however the bottom bracket socket is steel so be careful with aluminum bottom brackets.

gets the job done but you will need a longer wrench, the provided spanner wrench will be to short for most applications.

Found an i teething looking bicycle in a "junk" sale. Started taking it apart. The crank extractor worked without a hitch, it was a set of aluminum alloy cranks so they came off easy. The bottom bracket was another story, heat, wd40 over 2 weeks, finally some crayon and a heavy duty impact gun had to be used. I honestly didn't think the tool would survive but it did and the damage seems to be cosmetic.

I recently purchased a bike crank extractor, and I must say it has been a fantastic addition to my toolkit. Not only did it arrive promptly, but its usefulness has far exceeded my expectations.First and foremost, the extractor's build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy and durable, which is crucial for a tool that undergoes regular use. The materials used are of high quality, and the construction is solid, ensuring longevity and reliability. The extractor's functionality is where it truly shines. Removing the crankset from my bike was a breeze with this tool. The design allows for easy engagement and a secure grip, making the crank removal process smooth and efficient. It saves me a significant amount of time and effort compared to using alternative methods or older, less effective extractors.I was particularly impressed with the extractor's versatility. It worked flawlessly with various types of cranksets, accommodating the different designs and sizes commonly found in the cycling world. Whether I'm working on a road bike or a mountain bike, this tool consistently performs with precision and ease. Moreover, the extractor's ease of use is worth mentioning. The instructions provided were clear and concise, making it simple for even a novice like myself to understand and operate. The tool's ergonomic design further enhances the user experience, ensuring a comfortable grip and minimizing strain during use.Overall, I am highly satisfied with my bike crank extractor. Its timely arrival, combined with its exceptional functionality and ease of use, has made it an invaluable addition to my bike maintenance routine. I have no hesitation in recommending this tool to fellow cyclists or bike enthusiasts who are in need of a reliable and efficient crank extraction solution.

The crank puller isn't made of strong steel, so the press bolt warps the threads if the crank arm is on very tight. Returned this kit and bought the Park Tools crank arm puller instead. It not only got the crank off, but it did it without stripping the tread or distorting due to the harder steel used. Didn't bother using the wrench or the BB remover. I assume the soft metal will bend/distort also, so replaced with a different tool for that.

The crank extractor worked perfectly, just be sure to grease the threads first. Even the wrench was fine, I saw some other reviews saying that the wrench bent, maybe they're including a stronger one now.My issue is with the bottom bracket remover, it feels like the teeth aren't quite the right size and it takes a lot of pressure to hold it in place while you turn it to get it too work right.Overall, if you're only going to be using this occasionally it should be good for the price. If you're going to need these tools daily, then you probably want to spent the money for the more expensive Park tools.
