The collar's internal diameter was less than 14 mm so it did not fit onto my drill press. The diameter was closer to 13.7 mm as measured by my calipers. In addition the set screws that came with it did not fit. The collar required M6 screws and it came with M5 screws, which were too small. I was able to enlarge the collar's internal diameter by using a dremel tool, and it now fits on to my drill press. I also went to a local hardware store for the M6 set screws. In addition the supplied M5 screws were too short for my needs. I will still use this collar since it will still satisfy my needs.

This product was exactly what I wanted. It is sized to fit a 14mm shaft, and the included set screw fixes the universal joint to the shaft whether you have a keyed shaft or just a shaft with a ground flat. I am using this to extend my drill press's height adjustment handle. Works great.
