This is my first "name brand" Otter Box since my very first smart phone. I forgot what I was missing from the name brand. I have returned to the Otter Box because a medical issue causes me frequently drop my phone. These cases are sturdy, well constructed, and much more secure-feeling than off brand copies and look-alikes. IMO, spend the money for the Otter Box. The confidence it inspires from accidental drops is worth it.

I've used OtterBox for many years. Most of the time the only issue I have is the rubber outer case will get loose and the holster tongue gets under it...after several years. I e dropped my phone with no damage. It works.

Over many times of changing and upgrading cellphones I complement that change with an Otterbox case.Always made well, very durable and provides a secure place to store an transport your cellphone. Removal from the holster is easy, customizable, comfortable and sturdy. My only wish is that the case had a kickstand to prop up the unit for hands free use. Good access to all controls, good selection of colors, Matt finish makes fingerprint disappear and the sides have a tactile pattern to enable a good grip. Good product, excellent reputation, good buy.

The only thing that comes in the box besides the case is the limited warranty in a font of about 2. You'll need a magnifying glass to read it. No instructions on how to install case. Look at the picture in the description that shows the case in 4 pieces. You have to take the case completely apart to put the phone in. Also, to use the clip as a kickstand you have to manually turn the entire clip so it's perpendicular with the case. Then you push down the clip till it clicks in to the the lever piece at the top of the kickstand. To release the stand just push down on the lever. The last picture they show in the description shows the kickstand turned sideways. Use the pictures! This is what helped us figure out how to install the case and use the kickstand. Really would have liked instructions in the box. Once all together it does seem sturdy. We just got it and my husband drops his phone often so we'll see if it lasts. I gave 5 stars so hope it doesn't prove me wrong.
