I realized I was scratching the top of the bumper when putting my husband’s wheelchair in the trunk. I ordered this and it works great. Fold it out, put the chair in and then fold it back inside the trunk.

I got this for my new vehicle because I didn't want to damage my paint when loading and unloading items from my trunk. This works great, it protects the paint and is padded, so I don't have to worry about dings.

Much cheaper than other products, we were pleased with this item's quality and practicality. It's a perfect size for a CX-5 both width and length over the bumper.The elasticised clips to the cargo anchor points give confidence it'll stay put over Velcro alone. The clips are cheap and nasty but will likely do the trick.

Paid about $34 for this item which is a foldout pad with light cushioning and velcro strips to hold it down. It does the job, straightforward. It's not made of rubber, but more like a nylon/PET material (like the kind used in re-usable shopping totes), and there are no grips on the underside.

I purchased this to replace a bulky blanket that I kept the trunk to protect the bumper. I take a wheelchair in & out of the trunk daily. This Velcro's into the trunk & easily flips down to protect the bumper while removing the wheelchair. Takes up very little room. Works perfectly! Highly recommend.

Bumper protector is well made and affordable. The canvas-like material is strong and relatively soft and durable. The creases make it easy to fold up when placing back in the trunk. The Velcro straps keep it in place. I also have a weather-tech type cargo mat in the trunk of my Model Y. I wasn’t sure if I could have both in the trunk at the same time but with the Velcro straps underneath the cargo mat the bumper protector is flexible enough to fold over the top of it and not get in the way of the trunk’s closing mechanism. I’m extremely happy with the product and how it fits in the trunk. Its durability should allow it to last the life of the car. I strongly recommend this product!
