The most functional and stylish organizing box I have come across in years that not only looks elegant, but provides the level of organization that I need.I have important files that I need to reference, and I am using the pockets for when someone gives me a business card, sticky or regular note that may be relevant, or a receipt of a big-ticket item that I need to keep for a return over the next few days.Assembly is so sweet and simple and I was amazed this thing comes with an attached lid that has two zippers! It even comes with a couple of short plastic protectors for the right and left side which actually not only protects the fabric, but keeps them straight and from folding.After using it for a while, I can’t imagine not having it. The front has a place to slide something in it to identify what is in the box. There are two holes - one in front and one in back, that is the width of one’s hand that allows for easy moving.I love the color, too. These things are not meant to be stackable, but that is perfectly fine with me. I just wanted to be crazy organized, have something that looks nice and is professional on my desk, and allows for quick and easy access to important documents throughout the year.

These boxes are perfect for moving files from the plastic file box to a smaller semi permanent box for archiving.

I have paperwork all over the place An administrative nightmare!Over time I've worked on it but not gotten very far. Part of the problem was using ugly black plastic file boxes to try to organize while at the same time keep the living space fairly uncluttered.Well that wasn't working out very well. When I saw the Oterri File Organizer Boxes with Lids, File Box with Mesh Pockets, a lightbulb went off that I could have files in my living room without them sticking out like a sore thumb.I got the organizer and it was a breeze to put together. It even has hanging rails for hanging folders which will make organizing a lot simpler. For my purposes this file will be urgent items that need attending to with a subsection of unsorted crap that needs sorting, scanning and shredding. Box is just big enough to keep the task at hand manageable.I got he green box which is a wonderful muted color and blends into my surrioundings. The organizer holds a lot more than I thought, but restraining what I put in there as I want to get things done, not just look at them all stressed out. Smaller subtasks give me a quicker sense of completion and satisfaction when completing a task which in turn motivates me to do more and be happy about it.So far so good. Will update this review if the organizer has issues or I finish my organizing. I have a feeling this organizer will outlast the job which is a comforting thing to realize.If you want a small portable file organizer that won't be an eyesore, this organizer fits the bill nicely.

This is perfect for what I need. I home school and throughout the year I file papers (worksheets, tests, daily log sheets) regularly but need them close by in case I need to pull something back out. At the end of the year, the files are permanently placed in a filing cabinet in the office. Because of this, I wanted a temporary filing bin I could keep close by that didn't take up a lot of space but could still handle the file folders for the entire year. I was apprehensive at first because of how it was folded up. Ive never had much luck with that type of cubby. But as I assembled it (no instructions needed) it became more clear that this was just what I needed. The plastic rails help the box to keep its shape AND provide a little more rigidity. I will probably not use them to hang the files since mine are wider and stand on their own. But I can see how this could be advantageous to those who use it. I like that I can keep the flap opened and it rests flat against the back of the box OR I can close it up and zip it shut. The handles on the sides are reinforced and look sharp. The design was well thought out and the execution is spot on. And the best part is at the end of the school year I can easily fold it up and store it away for the summer months, keeping one less "organizer" in the school room. Definitely recommend!! Maybe not for permanent use, but temporary use this should be perfect.

We were recently tasked as executors to a family member's estate. The amount of paperwork and records to keep became too much to squeeze into my normal household file and I wanted to keep them separate, yet organized for easy access. This box is perfect as a separate file for things that you need quick access to, but don't necessarily need to keep accessible forever.The box is a sturdy fabric, with a nice, stiff board in the bottom to keep it flat and in shape. There are two plastic sleeves that pop over the ledge that allows hanging file folders to both hand and slide easily. This was the perfect size to set up the files for the estate, giving plenty of room to separate legal, financial, court docs, bank accounts, etc. When done, you can just zip up the top, use the label area on the front and store it away in the closet. The cut out handles on the sides make it easy to slide into a cabinet and pull out as needed. Excellent option for separating your files from others you may have. I am going to order another, because we are named executors of another family estate and I want to have it for the future.
