At the core of this kit is the OTC 7448A wide throat Fuel Injection Cleaner Canister which provides you with a heavy duty stainless steel container for years of service along with a 3-1/2" easy to read mechanical pressure gauge, a removable hose constructed to handle aggressive cleaners and ethanol fuels without cracking or swelling, an easy to open/close ball valve for immediate system control, a blowout fitting attachment to clean your tool when finished, and of course the OTC adapter Application Manual showing all the information you need to work on virtually all vehicles manufactured between 1997 - 2013 in the US. In addition to this, the OTC 7649A Fuel Injector Cleaning Kit includes a spring lock coupling adapter, several quick connect and banjo fittings, as well as a decarbonizing adapter for throttle plate/manifold cleaning. These adapters permit adapting the canister cleaner to many domestic and import vehicles. Clogged fuel injectors cause sluggish performance, poor fuel economy and rough idle. first time using it the gauge blew out and started filling with cleaning solution, getting the vehicle to run took most of it away. ended up replacing with a fitting from a hose shop nearby, and a princess auto hydraulics gauge. still could've caused a fire if I wasn't paying attention not impressive for the money at all. also no ford fittings included

The cannister is well built but the pressure regulator as others have mentioned is junk.Dissapointing to have it so sloppy to adjustment and it also will spit out the inject-r kleen fluid at you on occassion. The rest of the kit is ok but OTC why do you not include a fogger for induction cleaning? Why do you not even offer one? All I can say on a positive note is if you can live with the downsides it does work once you get it set up correctly. If I had time to not have it making money I would have sent it back.

The gauge filled up with fluid and leaked all over the engine on the first use. Sent it back to Amazon. VERY POOR craftsmanship on this. I did ask for a replacement, hopefully this one will work. For the price, it should be completely flawless.Update: Amazon did an AWESOME job. They paid for return and immediately sent a replacement that works! Only downside is the new kit has an adapter for GM vehicles that broke the first time I tried to use it on the Tahoe. I'm guessing OTC tools are low-quality junk based on such poor quality-control. I would not recommend this kit-find a competitor's kit instead.

I have a ministry in my garage @ home where I work on cars ( for donations only ) I have used it 4 times already and it made the cars run great. Note I used Sea Foam straight out of the can and them I waited 20 minutes after the engine stalled to restart the engine. The engine will be a little hard to restart but don`t worry, go for a drive in the car and put the peddle to the floor, you will begin to notice your engine performance getting better as the days go by.

This tool is a must for cleaning fuel injector systems per the manufacturers specifications. There are lot of different fuel systems in the world and the adapters provided in this kit didn't work for my vehicles but I was able to purchase the correct ones and the tool works perfectly.It would be an improvement if we could order the adapters for the vehicles we plan to clean.

The only problem, and it's NOT a problem with this tool, is that there are so many different adapters for so many different vehicles, it's a matter of, if only you could tell in advance what you were actually going to need for YOUR particular vehicle, and order it when you buy the tool.... THAT would be a benefit. Unless you are a professional and intend to get the very expensive Professional kit that includes all of the available adapters. By "adapters" I mean the pieces you need to actually attach this to your fuel rail. I managed to successfully use the tool without the proper adapter by cutting the rubber fuel supply line and clamping in a (splice) fitting that came with the accessory package that I DID order. But this is not something you should have to do, or even something that you may even think of. Fortunately a friend suggested it to me. In my opinion, OTC should make it possible and easy to order the adapter that the buyer is going to need for their particular vehicle that they are purchasing this tool to service WHEN THEY PURCHASE the tool.
