Forget slings. I broke my clavical in a cave fall. I had a sling snd was in constant paint. But this, this is what you need. Once I put it on and had someone tighten it, it took away most of my pain.

First of all, I ordered the XL size. I'm just over the L-XL border. I might have been able to go with the L size just the same. What's important is that the straps are the correct continuous length and are no Velcro extension straps, as some other shoulder braces come with.What's the drawback?I've used several of these before for my curved shoulders. This model's main over-shoulder straps are padded. So, while they are comfortable, they are thick and will not be hidden when worn under a shirt or a blouse.Other similar braces may come with flatter straps which are almost always well hidden under cloths but are less comfortable in general.Now you have to choose your preference.

Not happy about the giant cuts through the packaging at all but my husband has a broken collarbone and says that it takes the pain away straight way so im not too mad anymore would buy again and recommend

Teenager son broke his collar bone 6 weeks ago and has been wearing this brace. We bought a medium in case the small one didn’t fit. It worked out okay and he was happy with having his free hands and not have to use a sling. I washed it twice in washer with gentle cycle and hang dried. It kept its form

I bought this product to help with my posture. I broke my collarbone and scapula eight months ago (BRUTAL), opted not to have surgery, and as a result, my collarbone is slightly shorter and I catch myself slouching a lot. I was in a similar strap for two months during healing.This product is great for posture and pulling the shoulders back. It is of durable material and says Made in the USA on box. Very easy to put on and take off by myself.**If you are getting this product to help HEAL a broken collarbone, you may want to get one with thicker straps to better ‘splint’ and stabilize the bone (speaking from experience). These straps certainly aren’t a magic cure for broken bones, but they do help!**

I bought this following a clavicle break and discomfort from the sling and figure-8 brace the ER provided. The construction of this brace is good overall. The padding is comfortable and the velcro is strong. This brace gave me some needed pain relief and functionality.

Product is effective and works. Forces me to keep my posture straight while sitting and standing. Can be hard to put on at first - is a 2 person job to wear. I wish it had adjustable buckle clips instead of velcro to strap on.
