Worked well enough to install the main caps on my LS but failed completely and quit registering angle shortly after. Same garbage quality of the no name junk.0/10. Would trust gas station sushi over this gauge. A grease pencil and protractor will give you better results

Cheap and flimsy plastic. On first use, the needle ring cracked, leaving more tension between the gauge disk and needle disk than there was between the needle disk and the shaft. This means the needle stays locked at zero while you're still tightening the bolt, which almost led to me over-torquing a head bolt if I hadn't been watching what it was doing very closely. Even if the needle had moved with the shaft like it's supposed to, the plastic body flexes so much that I don't know how one could ever trust the brace to hold it calibrated with any accuracy. This is a device made for precision work, and this thing is so badly manufactured it has to be a joke. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

Shipping was really quick. Arrived on a Sunday!OTC is a well known brand. Unit arrived in good condition and was very easy to use.Definitely required for modern day automotive bolt torques, where most bolt are now required torque to yield specification

I'd miss placed my SnapOn Torque Angle Gauge, and only needed one, to complete a Subaru head job that has "torque to yield" head bolts. Wasn't expecting much (considering the price), BUT this tool has that "GREAT OTC quality"! Degree graduations were easy to see. Male & female 1/2" drive pockets were well made & tight. A Well built tool, and did the job with ease. There are several offered on Amazon, BUT I'd buy this one again, or "HIGHLY RECOMMEND" it.

I give this tool 5 stars it work fine for me at a great price but I would say it is better for doing work with the motor out of a vehicle I was putting heads on a 2010 chevy silverado and it didn't fit everywhere but still worked and will be using on rebuilds on the stand

This is just what i needed. For some auto parts, some manufacturers have clear instructions regarding tightening order and procedures. Sometimes you have to torque down a piece down to certain pound-ft of torque and after that you have to give it some angle degrees to ensure the perfect fit, nor too tight or too loose. This gauge is exactly what i needed to take care of those torquing procedures that combine pound feet and angle degrees. The 1/2 inch drive is OK for this application.

I invented this tool in my mind while tightening down a head and drawing a pull angle on a piece of paper with protractor and pencil. Then I went to the internet and found that someone had tooled, manufactured, mass-produced and made my invention available on Amazon overnight! Imagine that! This tool gets stored with my torque wrenches, and is definitely worth the price I paid. Most newer vehicles are calling for torque, torque, angle in their tightening patterns these days. It gets used pretty much every time I install a head.

Not a bad little tool for the occasional mechanic. I was putting the heads back on my Suburban and needed a torque angle gauge for the headbolts. With the engine in the vehicle the tool was very difficult to use due to space constraints and the odd angle that I found myself in. That being said, the tool is easy to use and for the price cannot be faulted. For the occasional mechanic, this will do most any job you have. The lock screw would be much more secure if it and the housing were a quality steel, but then it wouldn't cost so little (about $12 when I purchased it). I found it works best if the long leg of the angled bar is as close to pointing directly away from the dial as possible and braced against a solid surface like another head bolt, the rocker arm stud, or another head bolt. It will also work if you just hold the angled bar, but you have to have very steady hands. The only down side I found was the fact that the clear disk with the indicator on it is larger than the base of the gauge. When in tight spots it will hang up and the indicator gets stuck. If the base were larger than the clear disk, this would not be an issue.
