We used for skin tag removal. They worked great. Numb the area and then use these scissors to snip them off. Catch them before thy get too big and you won't even feel it. The bigger ones were a slight pinch but still not bad.

2nd purchase from my original 2018 purchase. Only used for medical purposes. The 2018 pair are just now becoming noticeably dull. We use them within the household weekly between 2 of us. Solid, sharp and will purchase again.

Great for skin tag removal don’t let anyone tell you they are not sharp enough, cause they are definitely sharp enough to cut through the skin and the flesh of the skin tag. Removed a large skin tag from my leg in the groin area per photo attached. The only thing I’ve done to the scissors is is to use very fine flat head screwdriver to tighten the bolt in the centre about half a turn. The other items in the photo ( full names below) is a needle driver, which is a kind of a forceps, but has smaller jaws which are lined with tungsten carbide inserts and grab on to the smallest part of the skin tag really really well, allowing you to pull on it so you can make the cut with the scissors. The numbing cream also in a photo it works okay so I would recommend it but it is not like a shot of a painkiller into the area where you doing the cutting.Cynamed TC Mayo Hegar Needle/Suture Holder Driver with Tungsten Carbide Inserts and Gold Rings - Premium Grade Instrument (8 in.)Numb Master 5% Lidocaine Topical Numbing Cream with Aloe, Vitamin E, 1 Oz Maximum Strength Topical Anesthetic Cream Pain Relief Cream for Hemorrhoid with Child Resistant Cap

Bought these after the good reviews to remove a few skin tags around my neck that had been annoying me. I know I should go to a dermatologist but they're expensive and these skin tags weren't very big, just ugly to me. I cleaned the scissors before using and cleaned the area first. I also used some numbing cream, but not sure it really was necessary. This was pretty painless, as the scissors are sharp and work well. Some slight bleeding but doesn't last long. If you're looking for something to remove small skin tags, these scissors WORK.

I have my husband remove tiny skin tags on my neck for me. I lost the first pair and was beside myself. I bought a different pair and they were so bad that he didn’t want to use them on my neck. I was able to find this original pair again and everything is fabulous. Don’t think that these won’t do the job. They cut like butter and have never left a scar or even blood. A very quick, precise cut every single time. If I lose these again (hopefully not), I will buy a 3rd pair. YES. They’re that good! Thank you so much for making these available to the public! Medical grade with curved blades and one has a serrated edge to hold onto whatever you need it to. These are PERFECT.

I got this to remove skin tags. I don't have help, have large hands so it's a bit of a balance. But it works. Cuts cleanly with minimum pain and effort.Clean the area. Coat a couple of times with something lidocaine (aspercream w/ 4% lidocaine is cheap). Wait for the lidocaine to work. Get the tag in position with fine tweezers. Set the scissors in position. Large tags near the swivel point. Snipping small things nearer to the point. Begin to cut watching to make sure you cut where wanted (I look away) and CUT. Pinch of pain than it seems ok. Clean the tag from the scissors, examine and next. Not as much blood as I thought. The scissors cut cleanly and at a 2-3ish pain for a moment while cutting only on some tags. It's better than a tag pen. Better than string. Better than tagband. Better than sawing with an Exacto knife.

Ok, not to be gross, but I've dealt with skin tags for years now and have always been in search of the best way to remove them. I've tried different ointments like Tea Tree Oil, which I love, btw, but it all took so long and so much daily work with minimal results. Then I finally went to the doctor's recommended specialist where they cut them away with surgical scissors. The women who did the procedure recommended that I get a pair of these scissors and do it myself. Well, I found these on Amazon and they had great reviews. They arrived. I tried them out on a new skin tag and it was soo easy and instant. These scissors are shaped just right with a slight curve that makes it easy for me to get at the base of the skin tags and snip them off with essentially no pain--a very minor sting, if anything. These are sharp, well made, and cut smoothly. They just feel like a quality made product. I really love them and highly recommend them for skin tag removal.
