The photos on amazon make the fan look full and fluffy and big. It is none of these things. They took a while to get here and I have to decide if I want to keep them or not. They were expensive and I could have added extra feathers to smaller fans and it would have been just as good for a fraction of the cost.

The feathers in the fans are not anything like those in the photo. The feathers are not as full as the ones pictured, and you can see the frame. The size of the fan is correct but the ones I received were not at all as nice as the photograph suggests. Also, you can not close the fan completely. Quite dissapointing.

These are beautiful fans, meeting my expectations for beginning feather fans. They are single layer with a base of down feathers. I am personalizing it and experimenting it, I'm quite happy with them so far. The construction seems to be great and all the feathers are authentic.I am adding another row of large ostrich feathers for my preferred thickness.To ask for thicker feathers, a tightening bolt, or any other feature would have these be over hundreds of dollars. Even to make them yourself costs much in material. I ordered the 2 pieces at 60 - 90cm and it is the best deal I could find for buying both fans.I hope you'll consider these as sweet pieces for anyone who loves feather fansThe shipping was definitely a couple week process, overall I am pleasantly happy with these
