So glad to find a blender with glass container! Thank You! Even Vitamix does not offer this option. Power very good. Machine has a quality feel and looks good. I bought a second glass container just in case there is ever an accident and there is a chip/crack or it breaks, but doing so was not expensive and worth the security. But I don't think the potential for that happening is great, and it is well worth it using a natural material.

I started looking into glass blenders as I was concerned about micro plastics leaching into food. I found a blender that had an Italian design and looked good but made a terrible grinding noise and left chunks of fruit under the blade. I hated using it. This glass blender by Oster is a classic beauty and it does the job in relative quiet. I use it at the lowest setting for smoothies and cooked vegetables for soup. Easy to clean with just hot water.

At first I thought it was going to be too small and underpowered, but was I surprised! This little gem does a better job than my big old Ninja. Highly recommend this product.

The feet on this blender make black marks on my countertop. Also, the way the cord fits/doesn't fit under the base makes is wobbly and unstable and the cord is too stiff to thread through the slot meant to prevent this. Disappointed

Por el precio si se me hace un poco elevado pero la calidad de los materiales lo vale, a comparación con otras licuadoras que sacrifican la calidad de los materiales por un mejor motor y menor precio a este puesssssss siento que hay que valorarlo dos veces, para lo que lo ocupo es para hacer mis licuados en las mañanas todos los días (con hielos) y sin problema los muele y queda todo bien. Si es muy ruidosa pero es por su potencia supongo.

So far this is a grest little blender-and i love that it has a glass jar. I make a daily breakfast protein smoothy & it is handling frozen fruit & greens & ice just fine. It's also fast. I've used it for a week. I'll update later if any issues arise.

I love this reliable, simple, yet sturdy blender. It is made of thick glass; however, the silver-colored bottom portion is made of plastic, not metal. It’s loud but it is expected.

My previous blender was a Kitchen Aid and it was horrible. In less than a year, it was having issues from a poor design, and it was so heavy. This blender is not too heavy or big, but is very versatile and does everything I need. Oster is a very solid brand. I'm so glad I was able to find an Oster blender on Amazon.
