The manufacturer used the cheapest and most unsuitable materials possible. I'm disgusted, but the flies are very happy. Every time I take a swing, another piece of the swatter component breaks off and the flies scatter. The wire is oh-so-soft and bends if you give it a dirty look. Keep your money, this over-priced garbage has only one place....the trash bag at the curb.

I purchased this product as a prop for a dance. It was wonderful as a prop! However, when I used it in the studio to actually kill a fly it failed miserably. This product is flimsy and light. If you are looking for a great prop this product is for you; if you are looking to actually use this product you may want to consider another flyswatter.

This is a case where some random Chinese company made a fly swatter without even the tiniest understanding of what it's supposed to do. The wire handle of this is far too flimsy to swat a fly without the the entire thing bending in a 30 degree angle after the first good 'SWAT". The Plastic 'grip' has all sorts of dripping dried glue on but is not, in fact, glued to the shaft. It decoupled from the shaft - Just like the Western World should decouple from China completely, in every way. Absolutely no QA went into this - yes it LOOKS like a Fly swatter, but it certainly doesn't perform like one - MASSSIVE FAIL - THANKS CHINA - MORE LANDFILL - When the western world ends it's relationship with you hopefully we won't see this sort of abomination again.

As far as a home found weapons of mass destruction go these are sure to be a flyers Armageddon. They do what they came to do. There's a lot of flies in my little cabin here and my hands were just not fast enough. At first I made something homemade to help squat the Flies but it didn't hold up after about 30 swatson disintegrated. These have helped me kill about 400 or more flies and I suppose my next step would be to buy a vacuum cleaner get their dead bodies off the floor. Anyway it does what it came to do in the flies live in fear of me once again.

Very short (so you have to sneak up on flies), and flimsy (the handle is made of such soft metal that it actually bent and warped as i swung it in the air). If you absolutely need a flyswatter by the end of the day and get same-day shipping this will work until you can get your hands on something better.

I don't normally leave crappy reviews but this product really is poorly designed. The metal is flimsy, making it so when you use it with any force it bends back as you are swinging - slowing the swing down considerably and making it hard to aim. The plastic is also cheap and not very durable. One of the two I got broke on the very first use; I hit it against a piece of metal and chunk about a quarter of the size of the plastic head just snapped off. Sorry people, this thing is a piece of junk - two pieces in fact.

I am blown away by the poor quality of these fly swatters. They are completely un-usable. I don't understand why anyone would produce something like this: it is utterly useless. Upon receiving them, I first noticed a web of hot glue strands where the handle attaches to the wire. After further inspection, I determined that the hot glue wasn't even working and handle was not bonded to the wire. Next, my daughter pointed out that the plastic swatting face already had a crack starting to form, and we hadn't even used it yet! When my wife tried to use it, the metal piece bent permanently just from the force of normal use. Why anyone would produce such garbage is beyond me.

Update: these are the worst fly swatters I've ever owned. Not only did they keep bending but after using it just a few times to swat at a knat the piece on the handle came off AND the part that's suppose to hit the insects. It just fell off. I an typically not a destructive person but this item is just garbage. Don't even waste your time thinking you have a fly swatter. They work in a rush but they are kinda cheaply made. The wire bends bad which interferes with accuracy when swatting at a fly. They are also a little shorter than normal

We needed something quick to swat the flies that seemed to be mutating in volume in our backyard this summer. I haven't used a fly swatter in years, but I was running out of rolled newspapers and magazines and the deet spray wasn't working. The package arrived with 2 fly swatters, orange in color, and ready to beat down the swarm near the screen door. On the very first hit, it got several of them pesky little things, but apparently the force of the swing was a little too hard and the plastic grip on the end of the handle flew off as well. It slid back on easily and continues to pop off with each swinging impact. I'm sure super glue would keep it in place but I will need to purchase that next on Amazon, as we don't have any in the house. So all things said, it worked well but was fairly flimsy.
