STRIKE INDICATORS, FINALLY PERFECTED
Oros strike indicators enclose fastening hardware inside of two molded soft foam hemispheres. When closed, the foam hemispheres compress creating a pressure fit lock that keeps it on the line and in place, without kinking. Over-sized threads make securing it to the line effortless.
To fasten:
1. Unscrew top
2. Place line in screw slot
3. Screw on top until the screw and nut grips the line
4. Unscrew ¼ turn to adjust up or down
5. Don’t over-tighten.
Indicator sizes: Small - 0.6 inches Medium - 0.80 inches Large - 1.0 inches
Indicator weights: Small .019 oz - Medium .032 oz - Large .056 oz
Recommended care:
- Store loose indicators in a container or in a fabric pocket.
- Foam may deform if indictor is compressed while stored.

This product is revolutionary. Wish I hadn’t waited so long. Buoyant with double nymphs (used a small), light water entry, easy adjustments. Accept no substitute. There isn’t one!

Great system! Probably the best on the market. However, size S seems to be the only size you need. Sizes M and L to big for most situations.

It's my opinion that this product is currently the best hard strike indicator on the market. Note, I'm being specific here. Yarn-like materials for indicators are very different and used for different applications. I will only be addressing this product compared to its "hard" counterparts.As noted, when it comes to strike indicators, I believe this is currently the best indicator on the market. Floatation is great and there are multiple sizes available for your application. They're easy to attach and minimizes kinking or disturbing the integrity of your leader/tippet. The indicator can also be used to directionalize your line in a 90º angle if you need it by wrapping it around the screw stem. This is my preference to ensure my line lays flat on the water and my line below the indicator is directionally pointing down. More importantly, attaching, removing, and adjusting is effortless. This is the most important feature of this product in my opinion. It is critical to ensure you're floating your flies at the appropriate depth and constant adjusting is needed as you work your way up/down a river system.Overall, I recommend this product for all fly fishermen who nymph. I removed one star due to the cost. This is a not a cheap product for what it's used for and seems a bit overpriced. Still, the cost supersede its benefits. Again, I recommend.

The best strike indicator I have used for fly line. Recommended by my fishing guide friends. To use: Open the two halves. Place the half with guide on the leader where you want it and screw on the other half to hold it in place. Move on fly line as needed to control depth of subsurface nymphs. Floats well and does not effect casting your fly line. Mend line as needed to control the drift of your fly. Pick up line if there is any hesitation or movement of the indicator during drift. Could be a fish just mouthing the fly. Different sizes and colors depending on conditions. Easier to use than yarn or other indicator styles.

These are a terrific way to use strike indicators and be able to adjust easily for water depth. I use them with my 5 weight nymph rig and prefer them in almost all scenarios only preferring the New Zealand style soft indicators in really clear calm pools where the fish spook easily.

They are small that’s for sure, but they are supposed to be. Easy to see and float very well. I have no complaints with these little guys. They attach easily and work as intended. A bit pricey but worth it as they work!

What an incredible product! Adding or removing these indicators from your leader is so fast & easy! They also don’t kink the leader upon removal and these indicators don’t slip a bit. These things are magic. They also float high in the water and provide the angler with a great visual of your drift as well. Gone are my days of using thingamabobbers, yarn and anything that needs toothpicks to secure or mucilin to make float. I’ve been fly fishing for 31 years and it perplexes me why no other company has made an indicator so simple, yet so effective. Worth every penny. Well done OROS!

Hat ein wenig gedauert aber nehm ich gerne in Kauf. Die Dinger machen einen schnellen Wechsel super einfach. Würde ich immer wieder bestellen.
