The slide hammer works great and I would have given the kit five stars if my two-claw puller would have been finished being machined. There are no holes for the bolts to attach the claw fingers to the mount. It’s useless. The three-prong mount is fine.

This is a good quality puller. It's easy to setup and use. The design is sturdy but not too heavy. The hammer and claws perform well. It's compact enough to fit in my toolbox when packed in the case. Overall a good value.

This slide hammer kit really does cover a lot of bases. It is a modular tool setup and they give you a lot of configuration options. Everything looks of decent quality and the finish is good enough for a tool like this. The hammer itself is nicely machined, but probably won't look like that for too long! Most of the included adapters make sense, but the "grip wrench adapter" is a bit odd. It is meant to replace the threaded adjustment screw in a set vice grip pliers. However, when I went to thread it in my pliers, it was too big on my small set, and too loose on my large set. From my thread gauges, it looks like a 7/16-14. I have a set of 10" vice grips somewhere that I need to dig out and see if it fits though.It would have been nice if the loose hardware (bolts for the 2 & 3 jaw pullers and screw for the dent puller) would have come in a plastic case that snapped into the blow molded case. When I opened mine the plastic baggy was in shreds and I had to go hunting in the case for the hardware.Overall I think this will be a good addition to the tool arsenal, but time will tell to see how long some of the pieces hold up to abuse.

I have a few tools from Orion and they have all been high quality tools that have handled the abuse of a heavy equipment mechanic. I haven't had a negative experience using any of their stuff, and this slide hammer is no different. It doesn't feel like some cheap HF tool that screams made in a 3rd world country. It really does feel and perform like a quality tool costing twice as much.
