We have an elderly puggle (beagle/pug) and he sheds all year round equivalent to 2 labs, 2 huskies, and 2 German shepards combined and that is not an exaggeration. Over the years we have constantly tried to brush him but it goes everywhere and it feels like a waste of time, defeating, and doesn’t make a difference. So we continued to constantly vacuum, shake out blankets, rugs, wash, and repeat for 14 years, it’s getting exhausting. The fur and hair is literally everywhere.Saw this vacuum and didn’t want to spend the money but went for it anyway and it is nothing short of a miracle. Day one used the de-shedding and combing tools and the canister was nearly full! Day two repeated and canister was nearly full again! (Seriously he grows enough to make a sweater). Day three and the canister was about 3/4 full. Day four about half full and you get the point. Now we still get some light shedding but it’s significantly less than before. We can pet him now with only a few strands coming out instead of two handfuls. It’s so effective, clean, and cuts down on the shedding by 90%. It’s a life saver for us. If you’re in doubt try it! It’s light and easy to use and comes with a handy storage bag for all the accessories! I put it in a closet and bring it out every day to use for a 5 minute brushing. Life changing!

I have a seven-year-old golden doodle, whose hair had grown quite long because my groomer for the last seven years had moved out of state and I had not found a suitable replacement. I had some experience in grooming her from time to time, but never liked it because I was a mess afterward and during the winter months, I would never even attempt to groom her indoors because the hair would be everywhere.. I recently ran into a neighborhood dog owner who had a smaller golden doodle who is nicely groomed and she told me about Furme. There are many other brands on the market however, since I had seen the results of the Furme groom on her dog, I chose to buy it. It is easy to assemble. It is quiet and is quite amazing on how it really does vacuum all the hair as you are cutting. I was concerned about the clipper blade not being as good as my other professional brand clippers so I was sure to bathe and brush my dog well before I began clipping her. Yes, it is not as smooth as my other clippers, but it’s pretty darn close when I was finished there was absolutely no hair on me. I emptied the canister four times during her groom because her hair had grown quite long, but it is so easy to empty and literally takes 10 seconds. I highly recommend this product. It is truly a game changer.

This is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. It is not only convenient with all the extra tools, but it saves time because you don't have all the hair on the floor to clean up. It's quiet and works great. Previous to buying this FurMe, I used Andes clippers. They worked fine, but there was always a huge mess to clean up on the floor afterwards. With FurMe the hair goes into the storage container which is very easy to empty. As far as capacity, I can groom my Standard Poodle without having to empty it. It fills up about 3/4 with my Golden Doodle's hair. I think the capacity is more than sufficient for my use. I also use it on my short haired 10 pound Chihuahua mix rescue for deshedding. He has Pekingese in his blood line and got some of that Pekingese hair. It does a great job with that too. I'm posting a picture of my FurMe, and the hair in it belongs to my husband! Yes, it works great on his hair too. So this has worked out to be a big cost saver for me. I'm saving $400 on having my 3 dogs (Standard Poodle, Golden Doodle and Chihuahua rescue groomed and $25 plus tip to have my husband's hair cut. The FurMe paid for itself after my first grooming session. Just buy it; you won't regret it.

The brushing and deshedding tools work fine for my Labrador/German shepherd mix dog. He’s a large dog; about 80 lbs. the clippers to shave him broke about two months after purchase. I would recommend seeing a groomer still if you’re purchasing this to shave your dog especially if it’s a large dog with thick or long hair. If you’re going to buy this only to maintain their hair then it’s worth the money. It does help minimize my dog’s shedding; definitely better than just a plain brush. The vacuum aspect of this helps a ton and makes the job easier. It’s not very loud even on the highest setting.

I was initially very impressed with this vaccum. It's fairly quiet with decent suction. The binding capacity is less than desirable for my thick coated sheepadoodle but I was willing to work around that. I've had it 8 months now & only used it about 8 times before the clipper head stopped working. At first it was intermittent and I could shake it around a little and it would start up again. But pretty quickly it just totally stopped working and all I have now is an overpriced tiny vaccum. I cant even find any warranty info. Really disappoint. -- UPDATE - SENT AN EMAIL TO Furme customer service explaining my issue. They got back to me about a week later, saying they had been trying to reach me through a reply to my email but it was being rejected. And they actually went the extra mile to find an alternate email address for me and get a hold of me to let me know they were taking care of the problem part. They told me it needed a new vacuum hose.And it was on back order, but they would move my replacement part to the head of the list of orders, and within a couple of weeks, I had a new vacuum hose.And now my fermi is back in business!! I'm happy and My two Ddodles are happy and comfortable once again. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!!!!!
