This product breaks down organic matter thus making it easier for the chlorine to work. I was perhaps a little skeptical as to how well it would work, but I had some organic matter in my leaf trap on the pump. It had been there are for awhile and I was planning on cleaning it out but when I looked at it four days after applying the enzymes it was mostly clean with only a few twigs in it. The only thing I can contribute it to is the addition of the enzymes.

This product comes in a one gallon container and it does exactly what it says its going to. I suggest going to the Orenda website to get tips on how obtain and maintain Crystal clear water.
