The D570 GL 2 in 1 is a well built light and very easy to use, 2 quick presses of the magnetic switch and the light is turned on/off, provides a well balanced light beam of narrow at the center with good illumination and communication while having a decent amount of flood to illuminate the surroundings. The laser adds another layer of communication, powerful to reach long distances and bright to not be missed. It can be turned on simply by pressing the same switch, with the light being on or off, it works independently from the light beam, very neat.Battery (supplied) is easily replaced/removed for charging(charger supplied), just unscrew the back end, which features a triple o ring barrier for extra peace of mind, it has plenty of juice for 2 dives with uninterrupted use.The back end features a well placed “hook” in the center to attach a lanyard (supplied) or tie in a bolt snap. The light is compact enough to serve as a back up, yet powerful enough to serve as a primary.

Really enjoy this light. It works fantastic as a primary light or use it like I do, as a backup clipped to my BCD. The compact size is greatly appreciated for this use case. The green laser is the standout feature here. It provides a perfect way to point out things to your buddy or group. You can also use it to play with fish, they chase it the same way a dog or cat would.I have a few other OrcaTorch lights and this one is built with the same high quality as the others. The solid aluminum body feels great in the hand and the on/off button is easy to use, even with thick gloves.Highly recommend!

I purchased this light with the primary intention of using the laser to help point things out on dives and while I do of course use it for that, it has become my absolute favorite light for so many other reasons as well. The laser on the original light I received was unfortunately non-functional but when I contacted their after-sales services they were incredibly kind and helpful and sent a new light immediately! This new one works absolutely perfect. I've dove with it over 100 times already and it has worked flawlessly on every dive. The green laser itself is fantastic for pointing things out, and I love that you can have both the laser and the white light on at the same time - very helpful when something is hiding in a more shaded area. I also find the laser helpful because I can back further away from the reef while still being able to point out what I'm trying to show; giving everyone the opportunity to see things while really reducing crowding. The main dive light is actually what has impressed me the most. I was shocked at how bright it actually is. I've never before had it where I felt like the brightness is is actually /more/ than what the company is claiming until this light. The main beam is incredibly strong and it is very helpful for checking far into caves and cracks. During the night I also bring this light along as a secondary for if I need to see further into the distance for any reason.I really appreciate the easy functionality of the two-press on/off for the light and the battery indicator is truly a lifesaver. I'll use the light (quite heavily) through 2-tank mornings and I while I definitely make it to that flashing red light, it's never actually run out of juice on me so the battery life is accurate and rather impressive. To make a long story short, this light is fantastic, the customer service they have is fantastic, and I would (and do) recommend this bad boy to any and everyone.Oh! Also, it makes you look cool ;)

We've been diving for a ridiculous 32 years. But it's only 400+ dives. For someone who is not a "water person" and has a hard time stepping off the boat, having a bunch of stuff dangling off of me is not going to fly. I've cancelled a dive for less. My hubby has to do the camera work because I cannot deal with the whole process of getting a camera on and off the boat. So with that introduction, let me stress that I absolutely love this Orcatorch Dive Light! It's small, but mighty. So bright that the dive master sometimes moves my hand so I don't blind the poor fish/shrimp or whatever we're looking at. On night dives, I can illuminate the octopus without pointing directly at it, so hubby can get good pictures that aren't over-blown. This light is small and doesn't feel like "a lot of stuff" when I step off the boat. It's super easy to turn on and off. The laser feature? Wow! Love it! It's perfect when trying to point to "that thing" not the other thing. Seriously, this is a fantastic light. The battery lasts for both of our two tank dives if I don't leave it on constantly. We recharge it while we eat lunch and then it's good to go for the night dive. It's small, it's not bothersome to step off the boat with it attached to your arm, and it lights up stuff from a comfortable distance, plus the laser is really effective. After several other dive lights that were "noisy" and too big making them obnoxious as I tried to hold my mask and weight belt during a roll in entry - you know that tacky empty plastic noise when it's banging into everything as it dangles off your wrist - this one is "quiet". It's small. It's not banging into my chin as I step/roll off the boat. The batteries are rechargeable. Really love this light! I put a couple of knots in the wrist strap to shorten it dramatically to keep it snugged up to my wrist and prevent all of the obnoxiousness to a minimum. Not sure why there's so much rope? Maybe to wrap around a toddler's waist? A few knots are totally fine for a light this amazing. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but we both have one now, and we really love them!
