Easy to use on just about any orbital sander. Be careful if needing sharp edges! These pads have a tendency to round over.

I really like these but if the do get caught up on something they get ate up quick. I will continue to use these but have bought a rubber one in hopes of not getting destroyed so quickly. But don't let this discourage you it is a good product.

I own a Bosch sander. It's not a high dollar Mirka/Festool/3M, but it is rated top of its class and never gave me any trouble. Bought these specifically because I've gone to the 3M Extract sandpaper (great sandpaper, btw) and an interface pad is a must with this type of sandpaper or you will melt the hook pad on the sander and ruin it. Had a thinner interface pad I had gotten in a pack of another brand of the mesh type sandpaper, but the durability of that pad worried me a bit. So, I ordered these. For whatever reason, my sander wants to fight me using these. Hard to control, requiring more down pressure on the sander to keep it from walking all over the place, or tipping. Tried making sure the pad was as close to perfect on center as possible, no help. I've finally decided that it's the thickness of these things that is causing my sander to become top heavy and tip over prone. Pressing down hard enough to overcome that then causes the random orbit movement of the sander to be impeded. Which defeats the purpose of the sander. These pads are 3/8" to 1/2" thick. Around a 1/4" would be better, imo.As to the quality of these pads. That appears to be good. Dust extraction is good. The hook and loop sides are well adhered, grab the sander pad and sandpaper (respectively) very well. The foam between those sides is a little more dense than I would like if I chose to use these on curved surfaces (which isn't why I originally bought these, I generally hand sand roundovers and such anyway). These just don't seem to be compatible with my sander, for whatever reason. Disappointing, but I don't know that I can blame the pads. YMMV.

I had no idea this product even existed. They have been hiding in some alternate universe from me for all these years! I have ordered and changed out new hook and loop pads for my orbital sanders so many times, because they just wear out so quickly, but I have a feeling I’ll be doing that far less now that I know about these pads. They absorb shocks from the sander, think shock absorbers on a truck to smooth out the ride, and they save the contact points of the sander pad from wear and abuse. These make sanding over edges and corners so freakin easy you won’t believe it, and it makes sanding for hours easier on my hands and wrists.Highly recommend this product
