One of the valves I used arrived broken. Because of this, I had to order another one. The ones I used worked well and were very inexpensive compared to other valves.

I replaced a very old antiphon valve from a different company as the antisiphon flapper valve had started to leak slightly when water was going through the valve. This unit leaked a whole lot more than the very old unit. It maybe that if you are using it with sprays that cause a higher back pressure it would not leak but my application is with low flow resistance so lower back pressure.I am returning unit.

After struggling with automated valves for too long, I stared to replace some of them with this manual valve. The ones I don't use often. I use the old automated valves as spares for the ones I need to have on timers.

My local stores don't stock this older valve which matches my older valve that was leaking. Consider using Sharkbite fittings when installing.

I've used these on two separate houses after the brass units failed. These are easily removed in the winter and hold up great. These do freeze if left out over winter.
