Got this on the advice of a Pilates teacher. Used it when I had a toe injury. I could do more standing poses and I could do child’s pose. I keep using it even after recovery for a way to prop up my leg while resting. I felt the price was a little high.

This is amazing to use. I use this every so often on the Lifepro Vibrating platform and it works great. A video showing exercises using this, sitting it on the platform and doing stretches….works amazing!!!! Worked for the purpose I needed it for.

This half roller is good and firm, but not hard. I lie on it for stretching, and do "sit ups", and it's very comfortable on my spine and pelvis.

As an ankylosing spondylitis patient, it is a constant struggle to get the kinks out of my back. Several spinal joints slip out of place. Laying on a carpeted floor has been my go to. After a physical therapist recommended laying on a rolled up towel up/down my spine, I ordered this. It was hard to find. Most other products were much harder. I have found this to be much better than other more purpose-built tools ... primarily due to its being soft-density foam. It works both length-wise and as a hump moved up and down the spine. I've already recommended it to someone else with back issues.

It's been a gong show trying to find a proper 6" x 36" roll in a medium density firmness. I've tried several full-round rolls that all had great reviews, some even described the rolls as 'soft', but my experience was that they felt like concrete....literally. I'm not exactly dainty: 5'10"/195lbs and stocky/fit, but with degenerative disk challenges. Those other rolls were just painful and annoying. This is the first roll (half-roll) that actually lives up to its description! It's perfect for my needs. I like the concept of the half roll MUCH better, as it eliminates the balancing act and allows me to breathe deeply, relax, let my shoulders go completely, and just 'BE'...without muscles getting sore or crampy. There are also several other applications/exercises that use the half roll to cushion or prop that feel so much better than the concrete rolls. Highly recommend if you're looking for that 'just right' level of firm/soft :)))

Love this back roller. I have a similar one that is made of white foam (similar material of a pool noddle). That one worked OK but for my back issues was a bit too hard. This new one is perfect density and I can lay on it for an hour without any problems, and it helps release tension in my back. Also love the size, it's lightweight and small enough to fit in my suitcase when I travel.

The smell is so strong that even after wiping it down it filled the room for a few days. Has started to dissipate but will leave points of contact with lingered odor. Apart from that, the product works very well. Shocked my PT didn't suggest me getting this sooner, as it's been the only thing to provide any type of relief to my upper back since a collision.UPDATE after 8 months: The smell eventually went away. Is going strong without any real signs of wear and tear, am quite surprised at how sturdy this thing is.
