I just got these yesterday evening and just now opened the stack. Despite the ad hinting at an AZO recording surface, like Media Supply CDRs, I found these CDRs to have a faint greenish tint with a hint of blueness at best. The first recording was fine. I'm disappointed not to have found find a reasonably priced alternative supplier, since Media Supply stopped selling single 100 packs to individuals.

These CDs are garbage. Not one of them will burn out of the first 20 I tried. Other manufacturers' CDs work just fine. So pissed off.

Have not had any of these discs fail. Going to try the one's with white label next.

I am still a collector of music and still make mixed cd's. I purchased these hoping they would be better than the Verbatim I last purchased that about 30% would not either play or even be recognized as a disc by my computer. I have made 10 cd's so far and they took less than 3 seconds to load and play on 3 different cd/dvd players! So far better than Maxell. I almost didn't try them because of a small # of reviews. Very happy I did.

Firstly I’ll say that for the money these are great quality. Second, I don’t know why there are so many mixed reviews on this product, every disc so far that I’ve used has burned correctly. The only thing that I can guess is that there must be human error entering into the mix, maybe not, but so far I can safely say that these have been a pleasure to use. If you’re on the fence or are looking for good quality CD-R’s for a good price, you can’t go wrong with the Optical Quantum CD-R discs. I’ll update this review if I encounter any problems though.Edit: So far all 30 discs that I’ve used have burned correctly. Though I must say that in verifying each disc that 3 of them must have had a slight alteration in the data as it burned to to each disc. The images used were verified to be good so no problems there. I can’t say with 100% certainty that those 3 disc were at fault. I still recommend these for anyone like me that wants to make backups of their disc based games and preserve the originals.
