I purchased these to replace a similar pair that has gone dull. This pair is pleasantly sharp.I didn't realize that they are as small as they are, but that's my mistake. They are comfortable to hold and work fantastically.

If you are familiar with Pakistani cutlery, you will not be disappointed. It may not be finished to a high quality and is a bit rough in cutting action but a perfectly useable scissors. I bought the 4 1/2 inch for a medical kit. The cutting edge extended about 1 1/2 + inches. I then bought the 5 1/2 inch scissors but the cutting edge only was 1 3/4 + inches. Not quite long enough to cut 2 inch tape in a single snip but will do 3 inch tape in two snips.

Just the right thing for all sorts of jobs: I use these small scissors for snipping price and manufacturers' tags off new clothing, cutting away plastic wrappings and opening bags of freezer and pantry foods, snipping price and manufacturers' tags off new clothing, even using them to trim the boys' hair! Of course, the sharp/blunt scissors neatly cut lengths of the bandage tape they were designed for, also electrical, packing, and wrapping tape. But they do a lot more than that. They are perfect for cutting away loose threads and removing those annoying "Do Not Remove" tags from pillows and towels, allowing me to cut close to the seam without ruining the item's edge stitching. I've used a couple of pairs of these scissors for more than 10 years and am buying more of the same to place in additional, convenient locations.A high-quality item and highly recommended.
