A pain to put on if you haven't before. That being said they worked as they should and helped a lot. Unfortunately they're rusting after one winter, probably 10 uses

I tired to install these on a John Deere 20x10x8, they are not even close to fitting. I think the problem has to do with the length of the crossing chains, they sit high on the tire, they should sit nearer the center of the tire which would make the side chains have to go around less of a diameter of the tire and would fit. I'm going to have to return these which stinks as I have to pay to ship them back and they are very heavy.

Needed chains on the riding lawn mower due to the occasionally uneven terrain. One chain is great, but the mower deck pulls the other one off, which isn’t the fault of the chain.Even with only one chain there is less wheel-spinning on the bumps and dips.

Fit my tires without hassle. Was able to mount the chains without moving the tractor. Liked the chain tighteners too. Good product.

I am using these chains on an old John Deere 277 AWS. It is fitted with 20x10x10 rear tires although I believe it was originally equipped with 20x10-8 tires, which may improve the clearance issues I'm close to having. As a four wheel steered tractor, the chains are very close and may contact the rear steer control arms. I removed all the extra links to reduce the potential of snagging the chain. The chains are very robust and I'm sure the tractor will break before the chain. Also, I believe that if the deck were installed the chains would hit the mower with the steering at full lock. However, as a tow only machine this is not an issue for me. Also, this tractor is an extreme oddball and I don't fault the chains in any way. I just wanted to share the experience of mounting chains on a JD AWS.The chains are much heavier than the set I run on my Cub Cadet i1042. They are impressively robust and the hooks for linking one end to the other are extremely robust. Based on initial impressions these chains will outlive the tractor they are on many times, although the tensioners may only be good for one "tractor lifetime" as the springs will rust away after being caked with mud for a few years. As a side note, chains are not a magic pill for traction issues. Most tractors have open diff and are therefore effectively one wheel drive. The Deere is no exception and in my very steep yard the chains just fill up with mud if I try to use it within a few days of rain. My other tractor is a zero turn which also has mechanically steered wheels. It is two wheel drive all the time and with chains generally unstoppable. Even in snow.

Excellent chain set and good value. It is a 2 link set which means there is double the number of cross-links compared to a 4 link set. In addition to the additional traction, because of the 2 link, they run smoother, actually very smooth on the golf cart turf tires to which they are mounted. It is almost tempting to leave them after the snow melts. The set includes 4-way spring tensioners for each chainset. While the springs feel a touch light they have done the job.Update: Still excellent chains but perform an immediate install upon receipt checking for size and fit. I bought an identically sized 2nd set for another machine and they ran a full link set large. I didn't discover the size issue for about two months until they were needed. At the time I didn't have tools to cut out the excess chain out so I overlapped the excess length and zip tied the surplus and plowed some snow with no problems.
