Got this for another smoker, drilled a hole in the right places and fits right in. The motor turns well, better if the meat or basket was evenly filled so that there wouldn’t be that much effort to spin. Clean up is usual with the clamps and stick being stainless. Recommended for ease of use.

I guess my smoker is too old, because this kit depends on a "thermometer hole" that my smoker does not have. According to the manual, there should be a larger round hole to the right of one of the pairs of grate supports. If you have that hole, this looks like a great rotisserie. The installation is simple, and everything was appropriately sized for the grill.

We have been wanting a rotisserie for our Weber and one became available on Vine, just as grilling season started. This was easy to install and even easier to use. As you can see from the pictures, the charcoal was off to the sides, with drip pans in the middle. There is enough room for two chickens (don't forget the string to truss them) and it takes 15 - 20 seconds for it to rotate.

I've had my smoker (18" Weber Smokey Mountain) for 10+ years, and it was time to make a few upgrades. This rotisserie was the best thing I could have chosen!! I needed to use a step drill bit to drill 1.25" hole for the spit to attach to the motor but that was the only physical changes I needed to do to make this attach to my smoker. First test I grill roasted a chicken, which came out great. Took less than 2 hours and the motor performed great. Next, I decided to take a big gamble and grill roast a 14 lbs. turkey for Thanksgiving. The motor ran for 3 hours no problem, and the turkey was the best I've ever made with my smoker!! The spit and the four-pronged forks are stainless steel and clean up nicely. I do spend some time with the forks, as they have some had to reach crevasses. The forks clamp down secure with wing bolts and stay in place during use. The motor operates almost silently, cleans up easy and has about a 10' ft power cord. Yes, the outer case of the motor gets smoke and grease on it during the cook due to the close proximity to the spit hole. I highly recommend this rotisserie to anyone thinking of adding one to their grilling experience.

It is basically a "set and forget" unit as it does the major lifting for you. I don't have to fuss with it, turn it, open it to check it, etc... Again, "set it and forget it".I highly recommend this addition to your charcoal experience!
