Hurricane Ida took the awning over my front door so I decided to DIY and build one with leftover standing seam roof material I had. So this was the perfect tubing I needed to build the framework and saved about $500 bucks compared to the home improvement center this is good stuff.

This is a strong and flexible answer to rusting trailer tongue issue I had. It took some time to transfer the holes from the original to the new aluminum beam and drill them but it is solid, lightweight, and rustproof.

I'm so happy to have found this tubing. The local hardware store only carries a few sizes. The edges were rough, but that is to be expected. It cut easily with a reciprocating saw and was machined equally as easily with a drill and titanium bit. It has truly sold me on aluminum as a replacement to wood.

This item (aluminum tube stock) is exactly as advertised and exceeded my requirements for quality. The price, including free shipping, was excellent. My only complaint was the length of time it took to ship the item (delay was due to slow shipment preparation). I would buy again!
