I loved this light! Sold it on a bike but it was very bright in both modes either yellow or white. Projected very nicely and I have not one complaint!

These lights (I have two) are really cool looking, especially if you are into Owls as I am. I am using these as turn signals on the rear of my Dual Sport/Adventure bike. The yellow wire for the low, yellow beams is tied into each left or right turn signal (I have an adjustable turn signal flasher relay installed as well) , and the red wire is tied into a separate switch that I use to turn on the rear lamps for back up lights should I need them in order to see what I'm backing into on the trail. These are pretty bright little lights, but the yellow light broadcasts a beam considerably lower than the white beam, so by aiming the entire light downward a bit I can avoid blinding people with the turn signals, and the back up lights still reach plenty far enough. These are a solid cast aluminum alloy bodied light with built in heat dissipating fins and a nice semi gloss black coating. The lights are well made heavy duty pieces and the quality of construction seems quite good. As I mentioned, the lights are very bright for their size, and cast a nice pattern, lower and wider for the yellow fog lights, which is what fog lights are supposed to do, and higher and a bit narrower for the white high beams. Both of my lights worked great right out of the box, and with only a three wire hookup to each light, and the included mounting brackets they were a breeze to install. I have not had any problem with the lights, and they have proven to be waterproof enough to withstand a long direct spray from a carwash wand. I think these lights look great, work great, and are well made, and I can recommend them wholeheartedly.

OK, upfront I will say this, "these are not for the big bad biker dude's scoot, they're just too damn cute." That said on the right ride they are the shizzz. I will caution the buyer with this point however; "MAKE sure that whatever you install these on has a voltage stable environment or you WILL burn these out." A lot of the Asian shelf scooters and karts do NOT have the electrical stability to support these lights, mostly it is due to UNDER VOLTAGE which will kill these and other LED lighting quickly. That all said, these are fun and useful lights that I would recommend to you.
