I was having brake problems, and when i noticed a broken piston, I immediately ordered one since I couldn't drive to the store to purchase one. This part came in, and I swapped it out eith the broken one, and fixed the problem. the installation is not hard if you watch enough videos showing you how to do it.

The product is not new, which is disappointing but would be okay if it were properly refurbished. The piston is chipped all around the ring which is supposed to hold the dust boot. The o-ring ( obviously a critical part ) is missing from the kit completely. I wasted valuable time and continue to have to pay daily for a rented car. Pay the extra $15 and get the kit direct from MOPAR.

These seals are nothing like the OEM. Especially the outer dust seal. It doesn’t seat well over the piston. Consequently, both inner seals got damaged. Ended up using original OEM seals and the worked fine. I don’t recommend this seal kit.

The rubber piston ring is missing in one of the two kits I received. It's is the piece most need :(Besides the missing part, strangely both kits are labeled Omix-Ada, same part number, but the pistons are different designs.

Easy fix for a sticking caliper in my 2017 JK. Cheaper than a new caliper!Pop the old piston out with compressed air, clean the bore with emery cloth, lube the new seals with DOT 3, and push in. I used a brake piston press (couple bucks at Autozone) to push it in slowly and evenly.

Previous owner of my 2012 Wrangler ran the brakes until there was no pad left, metal on rotor. This caused the caliper piston to bust. This kit fixed it right up with zero leaks. To make getting the rubber boot over the piston easier use compressed air through brake like hole. Install boot, then blow air into caliper while installing piston into boot. The air will expand the boot over piston.

Refurbished piston, was expecting new. Should really add refurbished to the item description. New seals. Fit and function as expected.
