This is a package of trinocular compound LED microscope with a super speed 18MP USB 3.0 digital imaging system and an aluminum carrying case. It offers eight level magnifications from 40X to 2500X. The 4912x3684 pixels USB digital imaging system that captures still microscope images and live video on computer. The included software is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux operating systems (see version information below). The Windows software can also be used to make measurements The LED lamp can be replaced by yourself. The high resolution image in the field of view is crystal clear and will satisfy the demands of professionals. All lenses are made of high quality optical glass. The advanced trinocular microscopy is good for teaching, demonstration, clinical examination and research purpose.

I had already bought the same scope 6 months earlier and it worked very well but I wanted better resolution and picture clarity on the camera so I decided to upgrade from the 14MP camera I had to the 18MP. Huge mistake, the 18 MP has so much lag it is IMPOSSIBLE to use at all. I called tech support and did everything they told but it made NO difference and ultimately I asked OMAX to change out the 18MP with a 14MP (a cheaper camera). OMAX refuses and demanded I repack the entire scope and send back. I couldn’t do it because I needed the scope for my project that has started. I asked and basically begged OMAX to be reasonable and send the 14 MPncamera as I was willing to send back the 18MP. They refused again. I complained to Amazon and Amazon was completely UNWILLING to help out at all. Amazon told me to do what the vendor wanted. The vendor, OMAX, was basically punishing me for complaining that their 18 MP camera was unacceptable. Do NOT buy this microscope as you will be completely disappointed with the camera, OMAX customer service and Amazon
