Your cart is empty.This is a binocular compound LED microscope with the magnification range from 40X to 1000X. The compound LED microscope comes with a 45 degree inclined, 360 degree swiveling binocular head, body frame, revolving quadruple nosepiece, a pair of widefield eyepieces WF10X/18, four DIN achromatic objectives: 4X, 10X, 40X (spring), 100X (spring,oil), large double layer mechanical stage, Abbe NA1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and a LED illumination system. The LED on this microscope is user serviceable. It is possible to add a USB camera by installing it into the eyepiece tube, or add a darkfield condenser or phase contrast condenser by replacing the existing brightfield condenser. All lenses are made of high quality optical glass. The high resolution image in the field of view is crystal clear and will satisfy the demands of professionals. This binocular microscope is good for teaching, demonstration, clinical examination and research purposes.

I am a student in a histologic technician training program. I bought this microscope to review my slides and it performs beautifully. All objectives but the 100x are crystal clear. The only problem with the 100x is that it is much more sensitive to fine adjustment than the microscopes at my college, so getting a clear picture requires fine movements of the fine focus knob. Almost entirely a full metal frame and feels sturdy. I only have two problems with this microscope and they are subjective. First, the movement knobs for the x and y movement of the slide are a tad too tight for comfortable scanning and second, they extend too far below the stage. Another minor issue is the immersion oil that comes with the microscope was only about 1/5 full.Overall, this is a great microscope for the price. I would highly recommend it to hobbyists or even professionals on a tighter budget. Almost exactly the same quality of microscopes used in my labs.
