This has been on the roof for several months now, still looks great. The bright copper color didn't last long which was to be expected but has a nice patina now. Was packaged very well but still had a broken piece from shipping and they quickly sent out a replacement, great customer service.

The cupola, including the copper, was perfect. My hubby cut it to fit our ridge vent area and installed it quickly. But as a warning, if you live in an area with lots of birds, your copper roof will look like you purchased a poopola a rather than a cupola. We had a cupola with shingles on it that matched our roof before this, and bird poop never showed on it. When I envisioned copper patina, this isn’t what I had in mind lol. But I must say that the product was as lovely as pictured.

Really nice looking unit. I have not installed it yet and am sure trying to shape the base to the metal roof is not going to be easy at all. It is not a simple vee cut and mount it. I wish it had some adhesive on the louvers to secure them better. (I put some on them). Overall it is a good product. I would purchase again for sure.

After you mount the base to the roof you then need to mount the louver section to the base. It basically just sits on top of the base section and it slides around when trying to screw it to the base section. You can’t screw it from the bottom because the area is tight and there’s not enough material. The design for the connection between the louver section and the roof section is much better because it has a slip fit in the corners. The roof section slides over the corners of the louver section. The same design needs to be applied to the base and louver section.Also, if you don’t intend to install a weather vain, pre-think the bolt that is supplied to cover the top hole in the roof section. It’s too loose, not long enough and a nut isn’t supplied. You will need to silicone it in place so water doesn’t leak.Basically the cupola is very nice, there just needs some improvements to make the installation better.

My son installed this for us and it went up like a dream! Looks great! The seller was awesome when the initial base came to us damaged. We had a new base in no time!!

Who knew Amazon had cupolas and weather vanes? The cupola is well built and easy to assemble. I painted it to match the siding on the house and it looks perfect. Paired with a copper weather vane that I also found on Amazon, it is a stunning addition to our garage roof.
