This was the first time I have bought these plastic tubes, I used them to repair older HO scale rail cars, which needed the trucks replaced and the mounting hole was now too large for the screw. These tubes insert inside each other, until the proper diameter is achieved and then cut to length and glued…voilà! 👌I had previously been trying to put larger screws, but this just didn’t work out.I’m sure I’ll find many uses for these.

Entirely my fault for not reading the description more closely but these didn't work out for my intended application because 1) the sidewalls are so thin the tube crushes when cutting; and 2) I was unable to find an adhesive that would bond ABS to Styrene.

Look, if you need to make a helmet for a Halloween costume for Pikmin;s Captain Olimar, and you need to attach a thing to 2 dog bubble viewers and then attach a ping pong ball with a tiny light to it, this is your thing. Just don't use hot glue because it will melt and you will feel like the high craft council is going to shun you. But it worked. And these were great.

Good amount for the price, they could fit into eachother a little smoother but im able to make them work so its not a big deal. Good quality overall

These tubes make me think of milkshake straws in thickness, so they have just a bit of substance to them but they can deform easily and aren’t perfectly cylindrical sometimes. If the walls were twice the thickness, I think they’d be perfect. I do appreciate that they fit within each other telescopically which is very useful for certain model building.
