Fender washers have rust and is probably made out of zinc but I knew that and bought it anyways.Has a smell but it’s earthy, just wash/boil it.

These perches are perfect for my little parakeet. I took out the dowel perches that came with his cage after reading about his foot health. I have his flight cage set up so it's like a little tree with branches. My Birdo is happy to have more room to fly and something to grind his beak on. For the price, I couldn't recommend a better set. Unless you have a bigger bird. These would not be suitable for anything bigger than a love bird.

I put them in the cage and the bird kept back from them I should picked up on that. This morning he was quiet, back on his perch at the back of the cage. This evening he was dead, lying in the bottom of the cage. There was not a mark on him. I had read in a parakeet book that the branches needed to be from certain trees, but just assumed that if they listed parakeet in the description it must be safe for my friend. It was not. I will miss him dearly. Do not make the same mistake.

Really pleased with the quality. Nice size. Good quality wood. Great for birds to chew and great for foot health having a natural variety of textures.

Great value, really nice assortment of perches. My 2 budgies love all of them, particularly the large flat top one which they immediately start peeling the bark off the edge of. I will buy them again.

Right out of the bag one of the branches wouldn’t tighten. The screw itself is loose on the branch. These branch are shiny and fragile. I don’t see these lasting long. I do like it, because it’s natural tree branches, which is better for the birds’ feet. I just wish they are thicker and more sturdy. My conure like the half log one a lot, he like to stand on it and tear it down but by bit. I like the little round disc, they are cute.

These are really nice sturdy wood bird perches; they stay in place and my bird has not been able to destroy them yet. They come with several different kinds so you can choose whatever your bird wants or fits their cage.
