9mm square links made of triple heat-treated boron MANGANESE ANTI-CORROSION STEEL for extreme strength, hardened throughout the entire thickness, rather than simply having a tough inner core or hardened outer coating. USAGE TIPS
In order to crop a decent security chain, the thief will need to use one arm of the bolt cutter against the ground as leverage. The further your chain & lock is off the ground, the more difficult and less effective this will be.

Corrosion and hardened test
Continuous salt spray test for 168 hours, no corrosion and rust on the surface of the anti-theft chain. Security chain heat treatment carburizing and hardening process, refer to EN ISO 2639 standard, surface hardness 63.3 HRC (HV 780), core hardness 49.1 HRC (HV 500), surface carburizing depth 0.2~0.5mm.

I use an adjustable trailer hitch with my trailers, The kind that uses removeable pins to secure the ball to the vertical rail. This means it's still possible for someone to remove the trailer from the vehicle, even with hitch pin and coupler locks installed. This chain enables me to securely lock the trailer directly to the vertical rail or to the vehicle hitch itself, eliminating this vulnerability.

This thing is a beast! Its not your average chain. I bought only based on the length and didn't realize how absolutely massive it was going to be. Better that having those wires wrapped in plastic bike locks, it makes for a good deterant for average bike thief.

I use this chain daily to secure my jacket through the sleeve and my helmet through the chin bar and then lock with a Kryptonite disc lock. Works very well. Fit and finish of the chain are great. Keep on ridin’ and if you ain’t ridin’ just keep on keepin’ on.

The last one that I purchased was cut by a thief trying to steal my scooter. It isn't a foolproof chain. Be aware. You have to use several other locks like a disc lock with alarm and a ulock as well for a moderate amount of safety

Growing up things would wander away. It was the darndest thing. Bicycles, lawnmowers, motorcycles, children, they all would wander. Deciding that while I couldn't secure the latter, anything with wheels could be secured with a nice sturdy chain. Honestly, this is significantly better than what I used to deal with back in college. It's a half inch (1/64" off) chain with built in rub guard that loops nicely over itself. Together with a good U-bolt, that bicycle should still be there after you're done with your evening chemistry lab. For me, it keeps the riding mower from moving in my backyard. Wish I had one of these (combined with a quality padlock) back then.
