This is not a fun job to do... So having to waste oil and time to pull off the oil pan and clean gasket material sucks. Installed and didn't show any issues, when cold weather hit a week or so later the low oil pressure light flickered on... I checked the oil pressure and found it to be 138psi... Solenoid was doing nothing and once the oil was thick enough to basically read the sensor off scale it treated this as a "low oil pressure" scenario.Reread the codes and ECU confirmed abnormal readings... Picked up an OEM solenoid from the dealer to install and now the car has stable pressure once again. Don't waste your time.First 2 pictures are of the sensor installed. Notice the sinusoidal response and eventually pegging the reading high. Last picture is first start with the new OEM part.
