The sizing runs a little large. It suggested I get a Large, I definitely should have gone with medium. That being said I can live with the fitting since I only wear these for long (45+ minute) peloton rides in the privacy of my own home. The padding is there... but after about 30 minutes, it doesn't feel like it is... Will keep looking for something with more padding for those long endurance rides.

3D isn't quite enough for anything more than smooth surfaces. Switched to 4D for the trails near me w/ the occasional surface imperfections like roots under asphalt or patches. So if the goin's smooth, their great; if not get 4D.Otherwise the quality seems good. Mesh allows for great breathing, which I may end up wanting when summer returns. I'd buy again.

These padded bike shorts are a great choice for wearing underneath everyday shorts for riding. I use them to augment the G-Form EX-1 impact shorts because of their flimsy chamois and for my Leatt 5.0 impact shorts because of no chamois. They remain airy and practically unnoticeable when riding on hot summer days. They are short legged so they do not ride up underneath impact shorts or regular casual riding shorts. The padding was of course a tad stiff right out of the box, but softened up nicely after the first wash or two. I do recommend these for the stitching quality, comfort and price.

I have been riding for a long time now, never bought padded shorts until now. There's a 46 mile loop I've been doing for about ten years that leaves me with some butt pain the next day and I decided to try some padded shorts. For the price of these ones, why not? Did the ride once with a seat pad and these shorts (on top of my regular underwear, not in place of the underwear like they're supposed to be worn) and the soreness/discomfort was minimized (but still there slightly). So they do seem to help and the price isn't bad.

Original Review: Comfy enough shorts, but the waistband lost all elasticity after one year. That was my original review, but the company reached out to me, unprompted, with an offer to try another pair, even tho I was outside of the warranty period. They asked for nothing in return--no shipping charges, no favorable review-nothing. A far cry from the solicited reviews that make up so much of Amazon's productreviews. So, I'll stay with these guys. Comfortable, lightweight shorts that don't slip up my thighs. And very affordable ones at that.Props to their excellent Customer Service.

I'm 5'7, weigh 180 lbs. I thought that I would have to size up so I ordered a large. Mistake. The large was way too big. I returned them and ordered a Small. These now fit really well.Fit is snug as cycling pants should be. Fabric has lots of stretch. Not made of cycling lycra. They are short, not necessarily meant for outdoor, but great for indoor cycling. Pad is placed well. Comfortable.I think they are good value.

I was unsure if the Size Chart was accurate. I wear 32 inch pants and my hips are 38 inches so I went with Medium size per the chart. I thought about getting one size up (Large) but I know its better to have a snug fit than a loose fit. I'm glad the Medium fits me very well, not too snug nor too loose. The padding is placed just right and is very comfortable. It's about medium density (a little thinner than the padding found on regular bicycling shorts) so I actually wore my regular bike shorts over it to get twice the padding. My rear end never felt so comfortable on a saddle. Lol. You could just wear this under your regular shorts/pants if your saddle is not rock hard to get suitable padding protection. I have also washed it 3 times and dried it in regular high heat cycle in the dryer and it has held up well...still looks new with no fading or shrinking. The only negative is that it has a strong chemical smell when new. It takes about 2 or 3 washes to remove most of that smell. Overall a great value and very pleased with the product and will order another one.

Update: these are very affordable biking shorts I just wish they were a little longer. Customer service is excellent as they stand behind their product. You're going to have a hard time finding something this comfortable any cheaper... I thought they almost compared to $80 shorts in the padding area. Not as short as underwear padding, not as long as regular biking shorts. I find them to be a little more revealing than regular biking shorts. Not my favorite pair but for $20 they are okay. I prefer the $30 spooned shorts a little better. I tried some $80 garneau shorts and never took the tags off or test road them, the padding seemed equal to the $20 pair.
