the description for this device indicates that it can dry fire the coil, which i was skeptical of since i didn’t see a fire button in the pictures but went off the sellers description. there is in fact no fire button and you cannot dry fire the coils. Takes normal AA batteries and reads the ohms okay enough but it’s pointless having an ohm reader where you can’t dry fire the coil for hot spots.

A nice little tester with male and female connectors for testing the coil resistance of an atomizer or the voltage output that is being applied to the coil. From that you can also calculate the heating watts.The resistance reads 2 decimal places from 0.01 ohms to 20 ohms. The lowest resistance shown was 0.07 ohms, from the connector and circuit. So probably accurate to ±0.10 ohms in most cases.The voltage reads from 0 to 10.3 volts with good accuracy against my test equipment.The bright LED display is easy to read.DIY enthusiasts can repurpose this to a nice little battery tester and ohmmeter for the bench.It does its job well.
