Having owned a couple mediocre gym bags from Adidas and Nike in the past, I really wasn't expecting this bag to be as well-built as it is. The bottom is pretty firm and the fabric is on the stiffer side, so it can hold its shape really well whether it's empty or full. The fabric feels like it will tolerate minor water resistance (such as a wet towel or a water bottle spill); this along with the firm base means you're not concerned about where you set it down with all your belongings, including a gym floor.The bag is also perfectly sized for someone who goes to the gym. Since it's smaller than a lot of other athletic duffels, it fits perfectly in a locker at an office or a Lifetime Fitness - note that if you have a high schooler who needs an athletic bag for soccer or football, this will be too small and I'd recommend getting a bag designed for the kid's respective sport.Because of its size and durability, this bag has a surprising bonus use case outside the gym. The bag's dimensions are barely bigger in height than the personal item size on Frontier, Spirit, or basic economy on United (18x14x8"), but if you leave a little room it will compress to fit in the sizing unit at the airport. Plus, because it's a duffel with one big opening vs. a backpack with many different small pockets taking up room, you get more space to dedicate to clothes and shoes. This is important for a personal item size bag, where space is at a premium.In short, I highly recommend this bag for its high quality build and smart design, and I don't think you'll be disappointed for the reasonable purchase price.

Beach for two dudebros.Fits nicely two big rolled beach towels, change of clothes (shorts, underwear, spare socks if necessary, hoodies in case it gets chilly in the evening) for myself and my 5 yo son, 2 liter water bottle, diving masks or swimming goggles. Flippers have to be strapped outside but we rarely take them anyhow. Even googles tend to stay forgotten.I must stress we kinda prefer spartan way of beach going... get there, get in the sea, swim till the sun comes down, come out, chill 15 minutes on towels till we air-dry and then leave to find some food, juice and a beer. When mom goes then there is no way to take everything even if we carry full blown plane luggage. Random snacks, inflatables, toys, books, hair curlers, small sofa... etc.Front zippered pocket is fitting nicely card wallet, some cash and car keys. Behind it there is a slot pocket... 6,3" phone sticks out a bit but its fine.Gym for dad.Fits everything required with spare room.Swimming class for 5 yo.Fits everything required with lots of spare room.Material and stitching are good quality, any residual odor goes right off after you turn it inside out and leave it outside for an hour or so. Inner lining is water resistant so that helps with stale odors as well. I prefer to wipe insides from time to time but that's just me being weird I guess.All in all, happy with purchase.

Great bag, does what I need it to do. I only carry a few things back and forth to the gym, so don't need a large bag. This easily carries my lacrosse ball massager, stretching straps, shoes, hand towel, water bottle, Wodie straps, cell and keys with more room to spare. It is durable, too, holds up to my 10 pounds of plates in there I have to use for knee PT. Gave it 4 stars; wouldn't mind it either having a compartment inside the bag or maybe another outer pocket or two just to keep a little more organized. But it is a nice compact bag; looks great and works great!

If you've never owned an Ogio bag, you are missing out. Ogio bags are made of high quality and I highly recommend the brand. I've had an Ogio backpack for 2 and a half years and it looks like new even after use 5 days a week.My search for the perfect gym bag concluded with the decision to purchase this bag and I have no regrets. The bag is the perfect size, between a small and medium size, which is just what I was looking for. All of the zippers and loops are made of metal. The bag looks appealing and has more than enough room for a pair of shoes, preworkout, bottles, a towel and more, while not being too bulky.I've owned countless gym bags over the years, including Adidas, Under Armour and Nike. This Ogio bag is the best I've ever had, is the best bang for your buck, and is of the highest quality.There are two things I would suggest to improve this bag: add a mesh bottle holder on the outside of the bad and add an inner zipper pocket inside the main compartment. This being said, I still give the bag 5 stars. I did not receive an discount or the item for free for my review, although I wish I had. (Banana pictured for size)Conclusion- If you are looking for the perfect gym bag, look no further: the Ogio Half Dome Duffle Bag will meet and exceed your needs.
