Tips: We recommend punching no more than 12 sheets at a time for smoother operation. It's best to punch in smaller batches to avoid jams. Make sure to press the handle down firmly in one go—if you go too slowly with thicker stacks, it could cause the paper to jam.

I don't know if our unit was a return that was resold to us, was damaged in shipment, or what, but the slide that determines the distance of the holes from the edge of the paper didn't click properly and finally fell apart on the inside. Had to return the unit.

Works well as described. Easy to create thin books. I struggled with the binding holder on the front but the holes line up well so I was able the poor the binding on manually. Good size for personal projects.

It punched through chip board, which was good. Needed to give it some oomph to do that. You can't disengage pins for smaller paper sizes though. And the slider on the front that adjusts the height of the clamp wouldn't slide. No matter what I did it wouldn't budge. But it's great for a hobby machine or something if you're not going to use it for big orders or quantities. It's sturdy, so that's good too.

Works really good, easy to use, and can punch through quite easily with medium applied strength. Only thing that would make this a better product is if there was a way to install suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place, as it will move sometimes while trying to punch and/or bind.

This was a recent purchase and it is a little different from the plastic comb binding machine I am used to. This is taking a little bit of getting used to, but slowly I’m figuring it out. I think this is going to work very good and you would be wise to give it a try.

I was so excited to save up money to purchase what seemed like a quality binding machine for a decent price. But upon opening to make sure the machine functions properly, I found that the apothem adjuster (the margin adjuster) is fixated to the machine and stuck under 2.5mm. Also, the fuse knob was hanging loosely from the back of the machine. I am returning this product to find a better option.

Unit arrived quickly and was well packaged. Items received were like the picture description. Unit has a good sturdy feel to it and is easy to set up and use right out of the box. The pull out hole punch tray located on backside does a great job at collecting the holes that are punched out. There's an easily accessible fuse located on the back side to help protect the unit from a power overload. I like that we can manually configure the hole punch pattern easily as needed, as well as setting up the margin for the holes. The coil inserter works great and has its own "on/off" switch. A word of caution to be aware of your surroundings. Long hair, dangling bracelets or sleeves could possibly be caught up in this if not careful. The coil crimper pliers that came with this package are made of metal and works, but it seems to be better suited for the larger 18mm plastic coils. We purchased another coil cutting and crimping pliers for plastic coils and this seems to be better suited for the 5/16' coils that came with this package deal. Recommend doing a test punch sheet to make sure all settings are correct before sending final product through.We are satisfied with this product package.
