If you are an artist then get this board. I absolutely love it because it allows me to sketch larger pieces wherever and I do not have to be tied to a table! It is very sturdy and the clips hold the paper down well.Mine came with a dent in the clip, but the seller replaced it.

The clips seem cheap and the board has a hole along the top. It looks like a nice gold board but is just a plain brown board.

This is a great item for an artist who wants to take their creativity out of a home studio and into a field, or to meet ups. It is being used by someone who has started working on drawings with larger pages (11x17+) and an ordinary clipboard would not suffice. It is made of hard, low-density fiberboard, so it's life is finite, but the surface is smooth. The latches hold paper or sketch pad in place while drawing, and the cut-out handle makes it easy to tote around.

The clips are sturdy and the rubber band helps from crinkling corners when drawing. Handle helps with travel. Hard pencil marks don’t leave imprints. Love it.
