Seller advertises that this spring will work for a 1970 Monte Carlo. It has the same appearance but not the same strength or tension to hold the hood open. Sadly, in order to find the springs are crap you have to install them. At that point you lose your option to return for a full refund. Add insult to injury if you want to return them you must send each one separately and also pay for return shipping.Look, I'm smart enough to research & purchase an item that by specs is supposed to be a direct replacement. I'm also smart enough to do a visual inspection to verify they physically are a match. What I'm not smart enough to know is if they'll work without installing them.If your product fails to meet or exceed factory specs, how am I at fault. Why do I have to take a financial hit due to your crappy product.It stinks & makes no sense that I must return each item separately. It stinks that IF, I sent them back I'm at your mercy if I get a full or partial refund. It stinks that I paid a body shop to install these & then have to deal with your crappy return policy.HOPEFULLY, if you're reading this, you'll head my warning & shop elsewhere.
