Ordered these fittings so I could fill vehicles that has the new refrigerant and convert it back to 134a. A lot of people don't realize that the system is the same. Just the fitting are different. Why pay 70$ a pound for 1234 when 134a is 6$ a pound.

the couplers worked as intended. removed the 134 couplers from the gauge hoses and installed the 1234yf couplers.connected them to the car A/C system, vacuumed and charged system through couplers

bought it, had to refill a/c on a new car, it arrived quickly, and I was unpleasantly surprised, the coupling set 14mm female connection does not fit 12mm r134 female connection hose. Returned, Hope buyers won't make the same mistake buying it. It does not work!!!!!!!!!!!!

These couplers do exactly what they are advertised to do: They will let you use the R134 Hoses with 14mm threads (and gauge manifold) with R1234yf automotive ports. True R1234yf Hoses will have 12mm threads instead. The included Tank adapter will allow you to use the yellow R134 charging hose with the left hand threads present on the R1234yf tanks.REVISION 7/20/2017: The 14mm threads on the hoses have an O-ring that seals against the land, part of the female thread on the coupler; the mechanical stop for the threads is supposed to be the coupler's female thread hex against the hose's male thread hex. The land on the couplers is TOO short, and though it is enough for the O-ring to seal, the mechanical stop will happen between the hose O-ring and the first flight of thread in the coupler. :( I have attached a picture showing an Air Products coupler and the coupler offered here.If you are using R134 gauges, you will need a PT chart or a PT chart app for your phone so you can determine the temperatures. You can also replace the gauges on your manifold with gauges that have both temperature scales.The couplers are solidly built and can be fully disassembled (no riveted knobs) in case the inner seals need to be replaced.

Arrived quickly and I have used the set already. Works very well, connected to my R134a lines and also the car I was working on. No problem pulling pressure down and holding as intended. Reasonably priced!
