I have used this now on 14 vehicles in the 2 weeks I have owned it and it is top quality. I use this in a fast paced repair shop and I'm sure it will last many years.

This tool turned out to be a mixed bag. The tool is well constructed and does what it's supposed to do quite well. Very easy to use and nicely constructed. While the coolant tank adapters work, specific caps for the application would offer a much more robust solution. What I didn't like was the tool mfgrs. quality control. My "1st" tool's vacuum gauge did not work and actually had rust around the screws on the gauge and around the fitting from the gauge to the manifold block. Luckily, I bought this tool from Amazon and received a replacement the next morning. I had originally contacted the mgr., but the resolution process/time was deemed unacceptable. My second gripe is the tool's packaging. It comes in a very nice blow moulded case, but everything just flops around inside. Makes zero sense.Bottom line is, It works very well if you get one that works. The method for attaching the tool to coolant fill tank is a bit lacking, but does work.

Very glad I decided to give this kit a shot. It saved me several hours of work during a cooling system flush on my 2006 Volvo XC70 (one of the adapters does indeed fit the coolant expansion tank on this car). I used a fairly small pancake style compressor and was able to easily pull a ~23 inHg vacuum several times. Making sure you have a really solid, tight seal is critical. A word of advice, make sure you read the instructions before attempting to use this, and I'd also recommend watching a video or two on YouTube demonstrating how to use it, especially if you're a visual learner. It's a little confusing at first if you're unfamiliar, but take your time and learn beforehand and it'll benefit you. Very happy with this kit! Nice, high build quality, too, by the way.

I just used this kit to refill the closed coolant system in a 2014 Ram 3500 dually with a Cummins diesel engine. It made the job simple and hassle free. It fit the Ram's expansion tank perfectly. I used a small air compressor and was still able to pull a 23” vacuum. IMPORTANT: You MUST find and plug or block off the overflow line (or vent) on the expansion tank before you can pull a vacuum on the coolant system! On my Ram pickup, this vent is molded into expansion tank and requires a 7/16” ID vinyl or rubber cap to block it off.

Used the device to refill my 986 Boxster with coolant . The Venturi kit made this job a simple quick procedure and hassle free with no airlocks.Instructions not great but plenty of info on YouTube that made the operation clear. You need an air compressor to power the kit .

Purchased to do a refill on a Diesel engine flush refill. Lots of gallons of coolant and separate systems to test and refill. Good value. This unit comes with a handful of adapters and plugs so it would seem to fit a wide range of systems. This product fit the bill perfectly for the job and made the process faster cleaner and helped complete the job properly.. Well made, easy to use and clean. Will certainly last for many coolant changes. Usage is straight forward but I wouldn't disagree with folks looking for instructions or general setup tips from the manufacturer.

First, I purchased a few months ago and didn’t get to use it as the radiator from the ‘67 Olds turned out to be faulty. After ordering a new radiator, which took 2 months to get, I opened the package. The unit was used as you can see by the pictures. It was all put together, which I did not know was wrong. As I connected it, I noticed the pressure fitting was used as well as the hose was cut. Too late to return, my fault. Second, as I was sucking up antifreeze the unit exploded off the radiator. Antifreeze went every where. Spent two hours cleaning the car and my tools. Nope, I would not recommend this item.

I am glad I listened to the many youtubers who said "don't buy the cheap one, get the oemtools brand". the build quality is really good (metal) and it worked great! I have heat again in the car.

Fantastic tool for the money, did its job perfectly and showed any leaks i may have had in advance. Only gripe was the sealing adapter, i needed a smaller shorter bit with a shallower taper to use on a motorcycle. I tade it work with pressure on the tool downwards to help seal well and start the vacuum. It worked as described and a few videos available to show you how to use it on youtube. Would buy again but hope too see a smaller adaper available, but no deal breaker.

Love this thing! I'd been filling my coolant the old-school way and fighting with trapped air pockets for many years, but I saw someone using this on a YouTube video and I decided to try it. It worked just as advertised, and was so much more convenient. This might appear to be a cheapo Harbor-Freight-type kit, but it's not. It's actually built very solidly and seems like it would be right at home in a mechanic's shop seeing daily use. The storage case is a little awkward, but it holds everything, albeit a little loosely. It might do better in a small tool bag if you don't want it rattling around in there.I was able to find one of the included adapters that fit perfectly in the coolant reservoir tank of my 2005 Mazda B2300, and I had no problem getting an airtight seal and pulling a vacuum just using a little pancake air compressor. Then the coolant sucked up perfectly and filled the system right where it needed to be. Not a drop spilled, and not a bubble to worry about. Couldn't be easier.Price isn't trivial for a home mechanic, but it seems reasonable once you see the quality in hand. It should hold up no problem for the rest of my wrenching career.
